"While we could do that, if our assailants are persistant, they'll resort to old fashioned stabbing. And the buddy system, without know which one of us is out to kill the rest, could lead to more bad than good.." He looks around at the others again, "So.. Someone reads the contract once before sighing. "Shame.." He looks up at the rest of the group, curious to see if any of them can bring insight into this mystery.

"Well. It's not the most conventional way of proving one's innocence, but given the suddenness of the tribulations at hoof, I'll accept it."

looks around at the others. "Well. It's easy to say that all of us are going to deny any involvement in your murder, especially since it.. Well, failed, to be blunt."

"I mean these 'Steel Rangers'" He says, making quotes in the air, "Maybe with this kind of bad luck, they'll cut their losses and clear out."

Someone scratches his chin. "Well. It looks like you've got some kind of guardian angel. They'll think twice before trying that sort of thing again." He glances off to the side. "At least, I hope that's the case."
