This thread is exactly what it says on the tin; a discussion page for the newest chapter of PH at any time. instead of creating a new thread every time one comes out, we'll just bunch them all into this one! =D

Also, this will of course mean that it will be filled with MASSIVE SPOILERS

Don't say you weren't warned. xD

Oh! And while at it, please have the courtesy of naming which chapter you are talking about. This thread is not exclusively for the latest; it will involve ALL chapters. Therefore it's nice to tell people which part you are talking about, to avoid confusions and such.


Chapter 24.
So. Anyone got something?
I personally frown slightly upon Sombers choice to let Blackjack see the Crusader Maneframe, but I can't see any other way for him to have done it, so... Yeah. Beside, he did it pretty well, so atleast he didn't butcher anything xD

Those Enclave folks intruiged me though. What purpose will they serve in the future? Hmm.

And lastly... I seriously hope poor BJ gets some much needed rest before she gets dragged into this Reaper War thingy, whatever that is.

I personally liked the way he had blackjack see the GoE, a great way to bring Blackjack back from the verge of killing herself and the interactions between her and Spike where amazingly funny and very "Blackjack". What I found a bit silly (but the sight brought a smile to my face) was Blackjack flying from the mountain on the back of Twister, but was a way of getting her down. I can see her coming back later on in the story, hopefully to the aid of Blackjack in this new war, whoever it may be with.

On that subject who do you think the Reaper's & Co are at war with? We will have to wait and see I think..

Not sure if it was right to push Blackjack THAT far though. But on the other hoof, the whole thing was awesome... It's very few stories who actually push their characters that far.

Reapers... Maybe the Steel Rangers? I mean, they are fighting over that bridge they floated under.

I personally wouldn't bet on them.... Atleast not yet. Currently, the two factions have been at a stalemate for... how long? Very long.
Besides, those on the bridge were not true reapers anyway; just failed ones.
Maybe a third faction we have yet to see? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be the Enclave... but I'm not sure why I think so.

Well I liked the way Somber's pushed the hero's to the brink, I was actually quite scared that Somber was going to kill off Blackjack, even thought i knew this wasn't the end of the story, I still felt like it was going to happen.

I think it will be a new faction, or something. But like you said, we will have to wait and see what somber does. i'm sure whatever it is he does it will be awesome.

Hehe, yeah. That's one of the reasons I love reading wellmade fics; regardless of what happens, I can be almost 100% sure that whatever happens will be freakin' awesome. xD

Eyupp. This was some chapter. P21 trying to kill himself, and almost succeeding? Daym, that was unexpected. I was sure he was dead for a moment there. Screw you Somber for toying with my head like this -.- xD

I'm liking how the story is developing :3 I didn't expect the enemy they were to fight was the Steel Rangers though.

On a sidenote; I find Psychoshy slightly disturbing. The fact that she's that ghouls girlfriend is one of the major factors. *shudder*
I'm not sure if I can legitimatly add "necrophilia" to the list of weird shit she does though. After all, the guy still moves around by himself. Pseudonecrophilia?

I'm fairly convinced that Blackjack is the descendant of Pinkie! ^^
My only valid clue is that her mane twitches though, and the fact that her ancestor is fairly likely to be the daughter of one of the Ministry Mares. *shrug*
I might be a slowpoke to that info though. I dunno. *ponyshrug*

Also; does anyone know anything about if P21 and Scotch are father and daughter? The commentors on the EqD page seem to think so very certainly, but I can't see why they can be so sure except if Somber gives away such info in his replies.

Another point in favor of the "Blackjack is Pinkies descendant" thing!
Notice how Blackjack can eat ANYTHING, and find it somewhat palatable? I'm seeing Pinkie's omni-herbivorious tendencies there! =D
