He will adopt any one of three different half-personalities at any given moment, each one contradicting the others. One of murder and bloodshed, another of peace and diplomacy, and another of random and Vigilante. He likes big booms, but has no idea how to handle a grenade. Killing isn't his style...until he pulls out a weapon. He grew up thinking he had no purpose, found a purpose, and now he wants no purpose anymore. His voice will drift from frequent curses and exclamations to polite etiquette to random other words.
I suddenl feel inclined to read your story...
Heh, well, I've sorta taken a quick break from writting it for a bit. I really need to work on some of the finer details of it before proceeding further than the prologue, which I've got posted here on the forums, for review, I guess. Mainly, I really, REALLY need to work on locations and NAMES! NAMES! THE BANE OF MY EXISTANCE! WHY CAN'T WE JUST BE NUMBERS!? I can count, see? 1+1=7! Obviously! Now why can't names be like that!?
Let it be known that these wretched lives shall be taken today under the watchful eyes of those innocents who have died, pleading for their blood to be shed...
... Or maybe we can just dance! Dancing is always fun with cold-blooded murderers! Lots of neat stories!
... Sometimes I wonder why I was given the ability to converse with myself... Or why this body of mine is part machine...

Well, he's not a sue with powers or fears / courage that make no sense, nor does he have some kind of alternate personality in his head, or anything unreasonably silly like a fear of dirt when the wasteland is so full of dirt that you basically can't avoid it, but he does like wearing dresses.
I love you so much.

I love Queen Dawn more.

I completely agree. Frickin names! I actually did give two of my characters numerical names because of how annoying it is to come up with good ones.

Main thing stoppin' me from uPloading the first chapter is a god-forsaken name of a simple minor character. I've only got about 4 names in the whole chapter and this one eludes me to this day. GAH!

Well, ponies do tend to have odd names, and since this discussion is in the "Interesting Character Quirks" post, why not just call the simple minor character Simple Minor :pipshrug: ? Now that would be an awesome name :D
I don't know, but whatever. still sounds like a neat story.

Speakin' about names, most of characters in my fanfic got human-like names with pony-like surnames, like Gustav Hufberg (first mayor of city of New Yoke), Adriano Flanko (first chief of Justice Dept of Equestria), Sean Stormbreak (who was named in honour of Sean Ponnery), etc. Oh, yeah, and Nicholaus von Hörnerkopf, one of my antagonists and badass evil scientist!

:pipshrug: Ok, though none of my stories finished, I well will give a try.

Lucky can't endure look of the corps and blood. He's always becamin' sick and often vomitin'.
His brother, Minty is a real jerk, chauvinist pig, sexually anxious and got love to black humor. However, he's first, who got himself a marefriend. And a nice one I say.
Honeycrisps is bishonen - he's got girly eyelashes and eyeshape, and his muzzle is more mare-like.
Ten is masterful mare, who got "boobs of steel" and likes to scare perps by showin' them 'er fangs. No, realy, zebra with fangs! Did ya ever hear such a thing?

Ah, well, I'm out of originality for now. Maybe I'll think somethin' later.
All we know it's irony that he was descendant of one of the most loyal ponies. He betrayed the Law and died as he deserved. May he rot in Hell with sisters. (C) Minty

Wicked Cut, my current #1 protagonist, wants to try and make mane care products out of it.

Whatever it is.

Tech, the protagonist I'm piecing together, is ,in a word, a genius. To those who've seen Trigun, he's a lot like Vash the Stampede and to those who haven't he's like the Doctor from Doctor Who. He really likes hats and coats, he is very childish and often gets into fights with foals, until he sees something he finds unethical, he acts quickly but smartly. He is trained in the art of Fools Gambit, if you don't know what that is it is a mention to something around the eighth chapter of Project Horizons. He isn't very strong with Telekinesis, but most of the time he can make up for it through his incredible power over Magnetic Manipulation. He uses a home-made Gauss Rifle and Coil gun. He does everything he can to keep as many people alive as he can. Oh, and he also doesn't wear armour, but relies on a Magnetic Field his body naturally outputs (a little far-fetched, I know but I like the idea). He will also occasionally say something related to something in the real world

Pink Button, Tech's adopted daughter, is a descendant of Pinkie Pie, if somewhat more serious, and has inherited the Pinkie Sense, which annoys Tech to no end, being a scientist.

My main character used to be a thief in his Stable, and he still sometimes has the urge to take random things. This might become more of a problem in later chapters. He can be a bit oblivious to certain things, but is usually fairly perceptive.
He also is really funny when drunk.

Now as for other characters, there is essentially an entire town full of strange folks. There is a unicorn that has a bipolar sort of speaking habit, a psychotic gang leader that is always laughing, and a telepathic colt that is always scowling at something. And that is just to name a few.
