"War Never Changes. Gaming Does."

Here's an idea that I've been toying around with. The concept is that Fallout: Equestria is a game in the timeline of canon!Equestria. The general plot is this: Sweetie Belle sees some gameplay of it, and is particularly disturbed by a fight against some Raiders that occurs around Carousel Boutique. She tells Rarity about it, and upon doing some cursory "research", she starts a Jack Thompson-esque moral crusade to get it banned. Finally, after being some talking with Twilight (who read the tie-in novels 
), and Rainbow Dash (who is an avid fan of the game itself), Rarity and the rest of the Mane Six decide to play a game together... and Twilight unwittingly activates "immersion mode" after meddling around with the keys, forcing them to survive in the Equestrian Wasteland... 
In the end, though, Rarity (and the rest of the Mane Six that only heard through the game) end up concluding that while the game is pretty violent, there's more to it than wanton slaughter, and that they can also go around helping the Ponies (though they're still pretty disturbed at how their names, their loved ones, and familiar locations in the town are used
