Sun raise once again in the peaceful Applegrove. And its residents lazily gets up, do their mornings chores and get ready to work the apple-orchard. When suddenly a yell from Sophos breaks the silence. "TyrannisUmbra is dead!"

It takes a while for this fact to sink in, old Barky, the robotic guard dog did not warn of intruders this night. But yet, signs of physical violence marks Tyrannis body. The once respected and cherished member of the society is dead, and the evidence is clear, the perpetrator is still among you.
TyrranisUmbra was innocent, with the special role of Vigilante. TyrranisUmbra had a silenced sub-machine-gun, but it seems like it will never see use.

You have 48 hours to discuss and vote. Please bold out names of those you vote on. The next night phase begins at Thursday 18:00 UTC.
I made some tokens to be used for virtual tabletops such as roll20, might be of interest if you like a playing field for your games.

The zebra stands over the body. "What a shame..."

As the mare (with the unfitting name of "John Colt"), approaches the commotion, she took on a pained expression and made a disgruntled sound. "Tsk."
She held a minute of silence before looking how the others react to the untimely death of TyrannisUmbra.

Well, shit. Vigilantes can be useful, especially if you can figure out who's scum and convince said vigilante that you're right, it effectively grants the town their own night-kill--at least, until the scum take him out to protect themselves.

Nothing much to go on yet so...RNG GO!

"Tyrannis didn't deseerve this... beaten to death while armed like she was. This is bad news for everyone." sophos paced to and fro. "This is worst kind of enemy, a damn lucky one. I don't know who might be responsible, or Silverlight's reasoning, but I'm going to second that we kick out SourCherry. Any info can only help us.

"What? You cannot condemn anyone if they haven't done anything!" JC was angry at Silverlight. "You have no lead whatsoever!" She looked in general direction of the genderfluid invisible sophos. "I strongly veto against doing anything to sour cherry."

OOC:
@Silverlight: you either metabreak, or don't roleplay at all

@sophos: you can edit posts, you know...

What is this! You're voting me on what grounds? I have done nothing wrong, woke up today same as you and heard sophos yell. It could as well be Sophos, since he found the body. Or maybe it's you Silverlight, since you're so happily just throwing names in the air.

And if that's how we're going to start this with, then I cast my vote on SilverlightPony

OOC: Actually, it would be better if the messages weren't edited, since then we can keep better track at who's said what and who's voted for who.

No. Absolutely no editing of posts during a mafia game. This is standard procedure for Forum Mafia.

As for roleplaying, I said last game that it can be amusing for a bit, but (unless it's your characters playingan in-universe game of Mafia--which does happen on another forum I visit) ultimately it's just annoying and distracting.

Sour: growing random votes around willy-nilly is kinda par for the course when we don't have anything else to go on. That "RNG GO!" means I don't necessarily think you did it, but we needed to get the ball rolling somehow, so I rolled a die and threw a vote where it told me to. I thought that much would have been obvious.
