Hi, Xencarn here.
Have some ruling/system question I'm curious about. Wasn't super sure where to ask, so I thought I'd try here. My DM found this system and wants to try it out, and I have a question when it comes to character stuff.
First off, is the Sheet linked in the Alternate Core Documents still the mane system document? or is there an updated one floating around.
Secondly, for tiered weapons(Mostly Meelee)(Document linked in the system doc mentioned above) what exactly does it mean by (Comparison at str lvl 7). Should we be using that number at lvl 7 or is it an example figure?
Example: Nail board's base stats are 3xstr+10+ while the lvl 7 figure is 31+. Which is confusing me cause the lvl 7 one is losing 10 damage.
Thanks, this looks like a really fun system and I'm looking forward to it!

Re: Ruling Questions
There are several floating around. I myself made one that tries to do as much as possible by itself, and takes doing all the math away from the player. At least what is possible with Google Spreadsheet. You can find a link to the template and manual for it here: http://fallout-equestria.com/forum/view ... f=24&t=863Xencarn wrote:First off, is the Sheet linked in the Alternate Core Documents still the mane system document? or is there an updated one floating around.
Those values are an example figure. "3xSTR+10 +" boils down to "three times your Strength-value plus 10 base damage plus the result of a d10 roll"Xencarn wrote:Secondly, for tiered weapons(Mostly Meelee)(Document linked in the system doc mentioned above) what exactly does it mean by (Comparison at str lvl 7). As already mentioned, the comparison at level 7 is just there for some people to get a better grasp on how well the damage of a weapon scales with your Strength value. ( 3 x 7 (STR) = 21, 21 + 10 = 31, add to that one ten-sided die roll)
As far as equipment sheets go, I find this one more useful and a lot of people use it: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... mHvAc/edit
In fact if you need anything else, feel free to have a look in my Google Drive FoE Roleplay rules collection folder: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7pxg ... DFNdXdaZzA
There are multiple rulesets in there, some WIP stuff and some of my own.
Have fun!Xencarn wrote:Thanks, this looks like a really fun system and I'm looking forward to it!

Re: Ruling Questions
Thank you for the quick response and the updated sheet! Def going to try it out.
Is the system document still the same/still receiving updates? Mostly cause I've seen Buffalo and Changing characters on forums but not sure if they're home brew or not.
Thanks again!

Re: Ruling Questions
Most of those are homebrew, but are usually based on the rulebook you already mentioned.
