I, for one, didn't mean for things to go as far as they did, events just escalated more rapidly than I could have anticipated. I really don't know what to say.

If this a rally to vote Yay or Nay for a rollback my vote will fall on: Nay, I don't want a rollback.

Last nights character development (or in Puzzlers case, redacted development) felt to real and to important to just have a rollback, playing it differently to have a smoother more fitting "story" would just feel too forced. Even if we did have a rollback I'm pretty sure that the characters would just end up doing something similar, if not the same thing, really soon regardless. They still have a mind of their own after all, we just point them in the direction where they should go.

I'd say have Cookies make a writeup of the event, to wrap up any cofusion of what acctually happened. Perhaps it is possible to add how Gizmo reacted to the situation in such a writeup?

Well, ponies, having talked to NitoKa and Pantzar, it seems a rewrite would be the best idea. Don't get me wrong, we don't intend to undo anything, the gist of it will stay the same. We just have to include Gizmo in it, see how it changes, but still try to keep the end result similar to what they ended up being.
Session #08 ending wrote:It all started because Hospice's yelling when they were about to be attacked by Mirelurks made Trefoil mad:
  • Trefoil hits Hospice;
  • Hospice complains;
  • Steel tackles and pins Trefoil;
  • Violet also reproaches and hits Hospice;
  • Trefoil tells Steel to release her;
  • Garador snarks about the situation;
  • Steel tell Trefoil and Violet to stop;
  • Violet accuses Hospice of being selfish and endangering the group;
  • Hospice replies that they could have just told her, rather than hitting her, draws her gun and threatens;
  • Violet draws her own gun and threatens back;
  • Steel releases Trefoil and leaps between the mares, yelling at them to stop;
  • Trefoil gets up and fetches a grenade from her bags;
  • Hospice and Violet argue, accusing each other of being dangerous, Violet re-holsters her gun;
  • Trefoil walks away from the group;
  • Steel yells at both Hospice and Violet to stop, saying at Hospice that starting a gunfight will only get everypony hurt for no reason;
  • Hospice re-holsters her gun;
  • Hospice TK punches Violet;
  • Puzzler opens fire blindly at Hospice;
  • Steel cries, trying to tell everypony they should know better and it will all go badly that way;
  • Hospice yells at Steel that she isn't the "mean pony";
  • Trefoil drops a live grenade by her hooves, intending to kill herself;
  • Steel yells that Hospice, Violet and Trefoil are mean, begging them to be nice.
The bold items are things I don't think can or should be changed in any way, no matter what else happens. The grey items are retconned, though Puzzler has shown interest in pursuing that line of events either in the rewrite or in the follow-up.

I suggest Gizmo to add bullet points to the moments he would act and we can see what would change in that case

Edit: Keep in mind, this is just a suggestion. Cookies is the one who decides what we are going to do.

I'm fine with "redoing" parts of it. Since it'll be largely copy and pasting with edits to reflect what Gizmo's character does. A rollback doesn't disturb me that much because I'm pretty sure most of the same things would end up happening.

Also, for the scheduling doodle thing (http://doodle.com/fm2nb4r2br3gaezi), just for clarity, can we assume the time is in EST, since I assume that's the most common time zone (even though I'm not on it either).

I looked into the schedule. Since I'm getting vacations from work, I can be available almost anytime, but that will only last a month.

I have nooooo idea how to work that doodle thing, so I'll just say now that I'm usually back from dinner and ready to do stuff by 11:00PM EST. That's the latest we ever finish dinner by. Which is 8:00PM my time. Which sucks, I get it. -_-

Click on the Show All Options button
Type the name of your char on the blank text field.
On the same line, click Yes for times you know you can be there or (Yes) for maybe.
Finally, click Save on the far right side.

No, she isn't. It isn't going to be easy, saving her, but I can guarantee if she does live then Trefoil will not attempt to kill herself again. If/when she thinks she's dying/she's dying, Trefoil will/would have realized just how massively she messed up with everypony by being the most selfish bitch of all. If she survives, even crippled, there's a lot of making up she'll have to do with everypony/griffon. Just sucks it took another failed suicide attempt to teach her that.

I don't like the idea of a dud either. A grenade blast that close is all but certain to take off at least one leg, if not both of her right legs. Still working on that.

How she'd keep up? If they win a house in Clover, she could always stay there for the time being until she got some unpowered prosthetics crafted or be carted around in the APC. *shrug*

My schedule is actually quite simple too. Basically, every-time excluding 11:30 AM to 9:30 PM (EST) on M-F works for me, though I do probably have to work in sleep.

Anyday at 9:30 PM works for me. Preferably not much later, because it's likely to take all night for me. But if I'm not sure, NitoKa can't stay much if it takes place that late.
