Beastiary?

Post by Mister_Clacky » Sun Nov 04, 2012 11:33 am

I'm curious if there is a beastiary floating around, or if individual critters are mostly just home-brewed per GM or taken from the Fallout 3 wiki.

There is a guidline style Bestiary done mostly by Kashin and I, but if I shared it with you, you might try to use it in G13 to learn creature stats =P

Me? Meta game? Surely not.

Actually, I got to thinking about the video game and thought "didn't I use to snipe sensors or something on robotic baddies?" I wondered if there were berserky rules for robots. Regardless, it isn't going to change my suggested tactics.

There is a system for the easy creation of monsters, allowing GMs to tailor monsters to their settings and the party's power level. If you go to the perks document, click on the second tab. That will give you the monster traits and perks list used to craft monsters. At the bottom are a few sample monsters.

Actually, that's a really good point. In the actual story Proper, Littlepip messes up the targeting of a sentinel robot when she lands a sniper round in its head, plus the fact that she blew it up by setting off its missiles internally with another shot. I'll have to think about how to add that in.

As a GM, this would be so useful! Please, let us make one for GM eyes only!
Xavi, target 45: 97 [5d100=16,2,32,26,21]

Epic set of rolls is epic.
