Alright, SO! Uhm. Hmm.. first, an apology or two. To Silver Lining, who Octy didn't tell our last two games were on. I need to add you on some form of messenger so I can let you know. Or Octy needs to make new posts instead of editing old ones. Edits don't send out notifications. Just sayin.

Next apology. I'm sorry, but these aren't as pretty as last time I did them. I just wanted the audience (whoever they are) to catch up with the rest of us. I'll make next week's sparkle like it deserves to. Promise.

Also, one of these parts we cut short due to a combination of technical difficulties, ineptitude on [CENSORED]'s part, and a general feeling on un-interest that day. Sorry for that.

And finally, I'm not sure which episode I skipped anymore, so there's going to be a permanent gap unless someone corrects it with their own logs. Apologies for that.

FoE: Flashpoint Postponed for 9/13 session

Unfortunately, life sometimes grabs you by the throat and squeezes until you turn green. :pipshrug:

Tonight was such a night, with Sledge Hammer's player out sick. Swept Wing had hoped to join the game, but his phone was running low on power and he was pretty confident that he wouldn't be able to make the whole of the session. That's two players, and my threshold to call off a session. I'm super sorry, but I can only do what I am able to do--and I want to make sure everyone has as much fun as they can. That sometimes includes upsetting a couple to make sure everyone that wants to be can be there. :raritycry:

The next game is tentatively scheduled to run on the 20th at 7 PM CDT +/- 15 minutes. If you are not in the room before then, I will consider you late and it will postpone the process of the game.

Thank you so much for your understanding and I hope we can pull games off with less obstacles going forth.

FoE: Flashpoint Attendance Policy

To all players in Flashpoint:

The last two weeks' worth of events (9/6/13 and this week, 9/13/13) have pointed out a fatal flaw that I should have addressed before now.

Last week was very poor timing: I had no reliable internet access and only my phone while I was housesitting for some friends from the church--although I did give advanced warning that I was not going to be able to attend.

The previous week I was at the Minnesota State Fair for the afternoon, and did return at an hour where there was a possibility of running the game, but that was also an unknown at the time that we left for said evening at the fair. Regardless, with my emotional state upon my return I was in no frame of mind to run a game.

So, effective immediately, if you know you will not be able to attend a session for whatever reason, notify me in this thread or on IRC within 48-72 hours of the game so that other players can be informed and properly plan their evenings. Also, cancellations within 24 hours or less of game time (7 PM CDT on Fridays) may be considered suspect and will result in you getting a strike if I feel the reason is of a questionable nature. Three strikes and I will remove your character from the game.

My cancellation threshold for this PnP is 2 or more players missing from the game that are not otherwise impeded or have not given advanced notice of their inability to be there (Exodus). I am holding this in fairness to all individuals in mind so that substantive action is not missed. If 2 or more players are absent but the remaining players wish to hold a session, I will do so but it will be limited and very minor in nature so as to keep everyone in the loop.

No, you do not. However, this will apply going forward--and saying that you're sick qualifies as believable, so don't worry.
