hi hi

So, magic has come an awful long way since I started. I scrapped it once, and I've tweaked it a number of times and its a lot better than where it started. I like that it provides a flexible framework for casting magic, and that it is possible to cast all sorts of different spells using it as a guide.

And yet, for the past couple of weeks I've been getting increasingly dissatisfied with how it works and I'm not sure how to make it better. I feel like each spell should just have a single power level, or at least a streamlined difficulty system. As it is, I've been finding that different spell effects produce unexpected results when compared and contrasted.

I get the feeling that another major overhaul of magic is on the horizon, but I don't know what that is going to look like yet. If anyone has any feedback on magic, I'd like to hear it.
