Who's doing that bestiary? I could go for some Bloodwing stats for group 7's first (or maybe 2nd) session.

I am, though given how dangerous bloodwings seemed to be in the core story (killed in a few seconds if they latched on) it may be a bit tough for a level one or two encounter

That's a good point. I knew there was that kind of danger... perhaps an opposed strength check after a successful bite? Success results in them knocking it loose, failure means on the next turn it can drain them for some crazy amount of damage?
