Re: Alternate Core Documents
I've got a few questions.
Is there any difference between "-30%" and "-30"? Because I think I see them both throughout the documents.
Also, I'm sure you guys have a lot on your table right now, but is there anything planned or in progress of implementing Changelings as a playable race? I'm asking because they are referenced in the Alter Physiology spell.
By the way, I'm starting a RL group with some friends this Saturday. I'll be in touch about the results^^

I too am curious about the inclusion of other playable races. I'd like to see how your implementation differs from what Jojolagger and I had assembled for our use.AffeTrollkarl wrote:Also, I'm sure you guys have a lot on your table right now, but is there anything planned or in progress of implementing Changelings as a playable race? Re: Alternate Core Documents
There are no plans to add additional core playable races. GMs are free to work up playable races beyond those offered in the core mechanics.
Re: Alternate Core Documents
Hmmmm, we should write up an expansion for other races, that way we can at least have a general idea of what we could play.

Epic set of rolls is epic.

I'd like to help contribute to that, if you'll have me.AMARDA wrote:Hmmmm, we should write up an expansion for other races, that way we can at least have a general idea of what we could play.

Seeing as I have no skills I'll gladly accept all help.

Well I have a decent amount of experience with rpg homebrewing (I'm much more active on GitP), but if we're going to make a project out of this it might be better to move to a new thread.AMARDA wrote:Seeing as I have no skills I'll gladly accept all help.

If you're planning to make a Changeling splat for FoE, it may be wise to review some users' thoughts on how Changelings would fit into the FoE universe.
Re: Alternate Core Documents
Not just changelings, other races too. D-Dogs, minotaurs, protectrons, that's just off the top of my head.

Re: Alternate Core Documents
I would like to request an additional spell be added to the medical spell set. A spell to stabilize the dying. A basic, 5 strain cost spell that puts them into a coma for say...hours of potency. Only use able on targets with less than 0 HP. (So, say you are a medical unicorn with 6 strain left, and your friend is bleeding on the ground. Your other friends polished off the enemy that put your friend on Death's Door, but you don't have anything to use to heal him, or the strain to heal him before he bleeds out. This spell would stave off death for a few hours, giving you time to rest or your friends to find a healing potion).
'
Another option would be to allow a player to cast the spell heal, but have it only heal 1 point of damage. Basically, stabilizing the target who is unconscious (Say its an enemy that you don't want to have wake up, but have no way to tie them up).
Thoughts?
