hi hi

Hellhounds are indeed totally sentient beings, when they're not under enclave control anyway... its just that they do 125 points of damage with every melee attack. So yeah, they're kind of really super dangerous. :)

hi hi

Since nopony had any serious objections, I'm happy to welcome Ilushia to the team as Salix who -continuing with the tradition of pushing things to the limits in this group- is a half pony, half zebra. I hope to be able to work her into the story smoothly... I've got my hooves crossed anyway. :)

hi hi

After much wrangling, picking, poking and prodding. I think I might have something that vaguely resembles a map that I'm sort of maybe happy with. Tentatively speaking of course. I tried to front load as much of the math and stuff as possible so that when it comes to game time, things wont slow down as I figure them out.

Old Paradise Valley
Equestria and Beyond

Blue Team Players: While you haven't gone over this in character yet, I figure it won't hurt to give you a bit of out of character knowledge so that when you do find this stuff out, you'll be more prepared to know what your character would do.

If your destination is Dodge Junction, there's a few things you need to worry about before you get there. Since you're right near the edge of Equestria and the Zebra lands, you have the unfortunate problem of having a no-pony's land inbetween you and Dodge Junction or the old Paradise Valley, filled with mines un-detonated munitions, and old war machines. You could travel through the mountains, but that will take time and have its own dangers. (The place you are was built to be isolated on purpose.) If you take the long way around through old Zebra territory, there's no telling what you'll encounter.

Uh, I will most likely NOT be attending the next session due to prior commitments. Although I may be able to do the start at least before going, but I will probably not be able.

hi hi

I guess I'd better figure out what to do. Do I hold the session anyway, or wait a week for everyone to be there? Time to take a poll it seems.

Do it anyway.

Chances are I'll be there for the start of the game, but have to leave part way through. Besides, Xavi would have a totally valid reason for not being able to continue on, taking a half burst of bullets from an LMG is not good for ones health no?

hi hi

I'm working on some cheat sheets to maybe help combat move along a bit more quickly. I know its not a simple task, especially over IRC, but it is my hope that we'll eventually be able to run through a combat scenario in less than a full session's time frame. If there's anything you think I might be able to do towards that end, please let me know.

Ranged Attacks
Physical Defense

I'm going to try making more of these for different actions. Melee attacks and magic are up next, but let me know if you think there is something else that you'd like to see.

Ummm, would I be out of place asking if I could join up with this group? This one is currently tied for lowest number of members (that I haven't already checked with), and the playing time actually fits with my schedule for a pleasant surprise. I just want to get back into the actual game as a player, instead of worrying about it exclusively as a GM.

Thank you for any consideration, even if the answer ends up being no. :)
