I'll have to think about it, ask how everyone else feels about it. I hate to have to turn someone away, though I worry about things getting out of hand. Having more players does seem to help out while roleplaying, but also can slow down combat... its a tough call. I'll let you know though.

I'm okay with Strobe being in the game as for combat speed we can work on that.

I would be ok with it too, personally I'm used to a quite bigger team :p and combat doesn't really slow down as long as people stay attentive as to when it's their turn (and possibly prepare and write down their actions in advance, nudge nudge wink wink), and the ratio of actions-per-dead-guy stays the same

Ice, lookhere. We now have Pegasus speed all worked out!

I'm thinking that for combat, I might decide to set a not entirely strict rule on taking turns to try to keep things moving. I know it takes a while to write out what your character is doing, but I'd like to have people at least make a decision about what they want to do a bit more quickly in some cases.
So here's what I'm thinking: I'd like people to tell me in the OOC chat what they're going to be doing within 2-3 minutes of the last player's turn. If I don't hear anything from a player in a few minutes, I'll just say that the character is delaying their action, up until they can think of something, get back to their keyboard, etc. etc. You can still take your time writing up an exciting and colorful description of the actions, but I want to keep the ball rolling as best I can. (Besides, your characters will normally only have a few seconds to think anyway.)
I'll try to keep the ball rolling on the narrative front too. Last game session was sort of a perfect storm of smaller circumstances that rolled together into something bigger than the sum of its parts, and I neglected to give myself a backup plan.
However, it would help me immensely if people would write up shopping lists for me of items they might want in the future, that way we can work out some of the crunchy bits ahead of time and hopefully make bartering go a bit more smoothly in game.
As for Pegasus wing power, I've got some ideas on that topic. There should be a "dash really fast" spell that pegasi can learn to help them sprint, and I might do some tweaking of the travel rules... but thats not very high on my ever-growing priority list at the moment. (Though hopefully I'll have it sorted out by the time you all get access to flying transportation.) I've got to fix magic in the worst way, and it is proving to be an exceptional challenge.

I'm starting to fill out a table of vehicles and robots. Its probably going to be a work in progress for a while, but I wanted to at least give you an idea of where things are and how they stack up against each other.
Also: Last session I noticed there was a lot of ooc chatter. I don't mind ooc chatter, but it seemed like in this case there was a whole lot more ooc things going on than there were things in character. I would like to encourage people to try to do more of their discussion in character, if at all possible. I know there's cases where that just doesn't work, and if there's anything you think I can do to help facilitate that, please let me know.

I'm sorry about the short notice, but it looks like we won't be having a game session this Friday. (Friday, April 13th) I guess it was just an unlucky day to top off an unlucky week for me, but I wasn't able to work around it. I apologize for making people wait even longer, hopefully I can find a way to make it up to you.

I'm glad you were able to make it, even if you arrived a little bit late.
I really need to find a way to randomly generate equipment that is at a store. Figuring out what is found along the way in the wasteland is a little bit easier, since things usually make sense based on what kind of a place you're visiting. (medical supplies in a hospital, bullets in a bunker, etc. etc.)
Maybe I should assign a "rareness" rating to each item, and then you can just roll to see if any given merchant has it in stock.
