Posting here so no one has to wonder "Who's this guy?" Glad to be on board and I hope we have some fun together! I'd like to point out a couple things so people don't get confused about my character:

1: She's going to be more of a combat support. She won't be using weapons, but will instead be using spells to aid others in combat, a little later on. At the moment most of them are self-cast (a few are not), but once they get upgraded, then I'll be ready to be awesome.
2: Her fire spells are not going to be used until she comes to terms with her own inner conflicts, or in a dire emergency. She's afraid of fire (and thus her own abilities) because of earlier trauma.

Yes, which is good news for you. The Str Requirement of that rifle is 6, and you only have 5 Str, which means unless you take Weapon Handling (lvl 16 D=) Or An Extra Special (Str), you will be subject to a 15% accuracy penalty while wielding it. The bipod reduces the Str requirement by two so long as it is being used. The obvious drawback is that you have to be stationary (unless you get more Str) to use the gun effectively. On the plus side, the gun is awesome, as Crack Shot demonstrated.
