Shadowgallop: Cyberpunk ponies, you say?

So, on a whim caused by too much caffeine, not enough sleep, half a pack of cigarettes, and some plant matter of a dubious nature, I have taken it upon myself to shoehorn MLP into the Shadowrun universe.

What's Shadowrun you say? Google it.

For those too lazy to Google it, take Bladerunner, Ghost in the Shell, Dungeons and Dragons, and throw them all in a blender, set to medium, mix till smooth, and serve chilled in a tumbler with a 12 gauge round to stir.

This... Is something a bit different though.

"It has been 2011 years, since the Sisters went silent, and magic left the world. No one remembers how, or why. All the ponies knew, was that magic no longer existed in the world. Unicorns, without their spells, no longer held special place above earth ponies, but those ancient ponies remember the scorn. Pegasus could no longer sculpt the clouds, nor could their pitiful wings carry their weight. No longer could they look down upon the earth ponies and laugh, but those ancient ponies remember the mockery. In the end, Pegasus and Unicorns were reduced to the stuff of myth and legend by sword and flame. This tide of bloodshed carried on for a decade, until the only sentient life left on the world was the blood stained earth ponies.

For 2000 years, the earth ponies strove through a dark age, then a renewal of science, then an industrial era, then into a time where splitting the very atoms of reality was a trivial task. Without magic to ease the woes of life, they had to rely on science.

That is until the Sisters split the heavens with their return, and magic was returned to the world. In the span of a few decades, mythical beings of all sorts began returning to the world. Unicorns,, pegasus, zebras, the diminutive Shetlands, the graceful deer, began to reappear, born of earth pony, but resembling ancient mythical beings. Dragons appeared out of the storms, griffins swooped down from their mountains, diamond dogs broke through the ground. All the beings once thought to be nothing more than myths returned to the world.

Then everything went to shit. War, plague, famine, and the infamous B-Day, where 1/5 the worlds population mutated into monstrous boars and buffalos, the destruction of the internet and all the data within, the destruction of Doetroit at the pincers of Bug Spirits and Balefire bombs. Megacorps became governments unto themselves, allowed by international law to "Do whatever is required to protect their interests" and they have many interests indeed.

You are a shadowgalloper, one of many who managed to slip between the cracks of society, erking out a living in the shadows, taking any job so long as it puts bits in your pocket, ammo in your rifle, and food on the table.

Remember foals, Watch your back, shoot straight, conserve ammo, and never, ever, cut a deal with a dragon.

RULES: Using Shadowrun 4e with minor alteration to races, magic, and fluff.

Setting: Seaddle region (Standard Shadowrun region)

Time/date: TBA

Some notes on the design, He has had most of the Bio-surgery he wants as far as looking like a deer and can even pass as one but there are differences. His head is to big, his neck to thick, back legs are off a bit, and of course he is still a whole hoof shorter than most Deer coming in at the short end for the species. The blue is his natural mane and coat color, the pink stripes in his tail and hair is dyed, as are his eyes. Also note that he can easily pass as a mare or rather a doe, well to a certain extent at least. Very feminine looking, even though he still has all the original gear in his tackle-box.

First time a PC has ever drawn up their character before the game starts, that's new.

And the promise of arts for game? Better make this properly epic in scale!

For those of you who want to play, but there isn't room in the group for you, I am looking for folks to roleplay the various contacts they will be running across, as well as playing the Big Bad Evil Guys they will be running across. PM me if you'd be ok with that.
