The setting

Equestria rages war against the forces of the Zebra, after the little-horn massacre the tension grew and the ministries where created no we face against the forces of the zebras to preserve our pony brothers.
Being a part of the force has certainly been an interesting step in your career. As a specialized military unit you have been in many missions dealing with the treats posed by zebras against Equestrian ground. as the special unicorn squad the job has been to deal with matters of arcane origin and you have done well. it is why you have been chosen for this special mission.

The Crunch

Timeline
the game takes place after the ministries creation and before the first mega-spell. you are part of an elite arcane military force that deals with treats of magical origin.
Theme
this is a horror game this means your character most likely die so dont get too atached to it.

Rules

  3. All characters must be Lvl6 unicorns (military units).
  4. Players must tag the magic skill and 1 combat skill minimum.
  5. Dibs on spells up to 2 spells. first come first served (of your available spells you must pick 2 that the other players cant have and are exclusive to you).
  6. No money or equipment you will pick those from a predefined Weapon and armour list.
  7. You can assign SPECIAL as you want but they will be reviewed and approved by the GM.
  8. Ammo will be counted as well as magazines (if you reload with half a magazine you get a full magazine in your weapon and a magazine with half its load).
  9. The game incorporate horror themes and supernatural, and will be unbalanced towards Players misfortune (if you cant handle situations that are not in the rulebook and you cant take having your character broken. you may sit this one out).
  10. Prepare to loose your characters. if you want to have a backup pony he has to be an unicorn scientist survivor he must have the magic skill tagged but he cant tag the same skills as your previous character nor any of his spells.
  11. Players are under the clock so try to stay focused on the task when the game time comes.

About the campaign
first of all this is a one shot campaign, once the plot is resolved (about 4 to 10 sessions) the game is over. this happens in most horror games as players see the horror they either die or run. the purpose of the campaign is to try the magic system, i have been Gming a campaign and i have not been able to try magic so i came up with this little idea to come up with a safe environment where players can cast all kinds of spells without affecting my main campaign.

the campaign will be text based over roll20.

That looks certainly really interesting. How long do you think your sessions will be?

You also asked for the distinction of "First Aid" and "Doctor" in your Rule Doc. I recommend to give this and this a read.

Ugh I'm stupid. I just now got the reference to a certain video game. ^^ (I never finished the first one and never played the others though. 2spooky4me)

I'd be interested, quick question though is the rules thing just in addition to a core ruleset (Kkat I'd assume).

Anyway I'll take care of it tomorrow. Unless it gets filled, in which case oh well.

i would espect them to go on for 4 hours. i may extend a bit but i think i will have a timer because i will be working the day after.

the first one is the scariest one. 2 is nice but not as scary the third i could not get over its movie feeling made the whole thing lame for me.

yes they are aditions mainly. the two most importants are a reduction of 40 hp for the base ponies. and the expanded skillsets.

strange, i allways make sure that people is aware of the time the game is goin to be played. perhaps it was a misunderstanding.

Sorry, I have someone in mind, but quick question are we gonna use the Kkat rule set or the other one that I forget the name of.

Just wondering what traits set to use.
