Greetings, everypony. Sunlight Octave here, now better known as Note Worthy. I am preparing to open another Fallout: Equestria pen-and-paper game on Saturdays.

As I'm reviewing my previous game info post, I am seeing that this is lacking some of the essential details.

This game will be featured 150 years after the Megaspells have fallen. The initial setting is in Stable 64, a Stable far removed from the mainland of Equestria, one of only four control Stables known to have existed. After determining that Equestria's current state has improved to somewhat habitable, the brave ponies of Stable 64 exit to reclaim their devastated world, and with work, hope, and a little bit of luck, return it to its former glory.

My focus for the game is very character driven to begin with, but will slowly progress to adventuring in the Wasteland and doing what is necessary to try and restore the area to a habitable condition. There is an excerpt from a document I have prepared contained in the spoiler space.

Just a bit about my record: I've run the Flashpoint campaign for the last year, and am involved in the Fallout: Equestria Radio Play.

I am currently going to be taking auditions for the remaining five positions I have in the game. This will be a two-part audition process.

When you contact me in this thread, please include the following:
  • A completed character sheet, using this format created by Menti. If you have any questions about the dynamics of the sheet, ask himself or me.
Update from Menti: When making your character sheets, you have four tag skills, compared to the more common three.
Please note: The trait Stable Dweller is inherent and does not count toward your total of four perks.
    Character Name
Character Species (Earth Pony, Pegasus or Unicorn only
    Moderately described character background*
A picture of your character, either done via General Zoi's Pony Creator, PonyLumen's 3D Pony Creator, or drawn.
    Your current timezone
Some other useful bits of information:

System: KKat's Modified

Items list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... _web#gid=9
Blank character sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
Characters will start at Level 3
Characters will have 500 Stable Credits(Bottlecaps)
Dependent on your character, you will have access to barding/clothing that corresponds best to your "job"

The first part of the audition will be a one-on-one interview with you, the player, to get a read on your experience. The second part of the audition will be a sample RP in the game's environment; please see the Informational Snippet to get a general concept of the setting. If you noticed the asterisk after the description of the character background, that will be something I will discuss with you in the first part of the audition.

If you have any questions, please contact me in the IRC or here. Good luck.

Stable 64 Informational Snippet
Spoiler: show
Stable 64

Located in the Macintosh Hills in Southern Equestria, this is one of few Stables that were placed far from the central hub of Equestria’s population centers. One of four “control” Stables in Equestria, Stable 64 also had been given a very unusual Social Experiment: a base for the launch of the rebirth of Equestria.

Stable 64 is a Class Four Megaspell Survival Shelter, one of only ten designed. The design of this series of Stables was approved by Sweetie Belle with the direct oversight of Apple Bloom, with subtle touches from the sister of the Mare of the Ministry of Image. Focus was placed on making the interior of the Stable pleasant for the survivors, featuring a large central area six stories high, research laboratories and five levels of living quarters.

Final construction of Stable 64, and her sister Stables 19, 27, 33, 40, 51, 59, 68, 84, and 93, was finished in CLY 1014, near the heightening of tensions between Equestria and their neighbors in Zebrica. It was christened on July 9, 1015 and received its initial complement of lucky Stable-Tec ticket holders. Initial population in 1017, when Stable 64 closed, was 450 ponies, divided of the three types of pony near equally, with a higher emphasis on unicorns.

Factual data provided by the first Overmare of Stable 64, Piñata, reported that there were 160 unicorns, 148 Earth Ponies and 142 Pegasi. Also, unlike other Stables, because this was purported as a control Stable, the population had no need for advanced warning of the megaspell attacks, having chosen to habitate the facility four months after the christening ceremony.

Overmare Lineage

Piñata: 1017-1045
Glass Rose: 1044-1073
Promised Land: 1072-1099
Leaf Blossom: 1099-1142
Paige Turner: 1141-Current

You never said what system, or went into detail on what the actual plot will be though I'd be interested, I have nothing going on Saturday's at the moment.

Character Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1347763335

Character Name: Tesla Coil

Species: Earth Pony

Character Background: Tesla Coil is a Stable Maintenance pony with a rather unique and quirky personality. A lot of ponies say that there is a fine line between genius and insanity, and Tesla would be considered one that likes to take that line and use it as a hopscotch rope. She has a brilliant mind, her specialty being Mechanics, and loves being surrounded by gadgetry and gizmos of all kinds. Ever since she could remember, she's always had a certain interest in machines, as a filly she would like to sit and watch as some of the older maintenance ponies of the stable take apart machines and put them back together good as new. She would be mesmerized by the shine of the metal, the sound of turning gears and the intricate parts that made each and every little gizmo tick. It was after she had convinced one of them to let her try a hoof at fixing a broken clock and succeeding on her first try, even improving upon the slight delay in the hour and second hand that it had before it even broke down, that she had found her true calling in life. She claims that the reason she is so well at repairing and operating machinery is that she has a 'well-tuned frequency' with machines and can hear them tell her what exactly is wrong with them. She talks to each and every broken appliance and gizmo that comes her way and listens to their problems as a doctor would listen to his/her patients. It was this that gave her a reputation of being eccentric and 'just a little bit screwy' amongst those in the stable, she is also known to do her job diligently and does it well.

Character Name: Black Orchid

Species: Earth Pony

Time Zone: Eastern Standard Time

Background:
Black Orchid's family has had an illustrious history of service to Stable 64. Going back far enough, a grandmother was the younger sister of Overmare Glass Rose as well as the Vault's head doctor. The current living members of Orchid's family are her parents (Mother Calla Lily and father Trip Hammer) and two older sisters (Gloriosa Lily, 27 and Hyacinth, 38). Growing up on the third quarters level with the family, Orchid was an average pupil in the Vault school but stood out on the varsity Quiz Bowl and Cheerleading squads. The GOAT placed her into Vault Administration, specifically into the Safety Inspector position which had been vacant since the passing of the previous incumbent. Despite abounding rumors of better offers from different departments, Orchid is surprisingly dedicated to the physically demanding job of keeping a close eye on Vault facilities, working conditions, equipment, and safety lessons to the foals.

Known amongst the ponies her age for her friendly demeanor and sociability, there are more then a few of her classmates that actively dislike what they see as vapid, yes-mareish tendencies. Older residents of the Vault know her for her dedication to inspecting their workplaces for damage or hazards, not always leaving a good impression by causing lost time or asking difficult questions. Young fillies and colts probably recognize her two stuffed assistants, Charlie and Morning Glory (The Safety Horses), more then the mare behind them.

Character Name: Lemon Shield <- picture is in the document.

Time Zone: GMT +1 Paris Time (but I am an insomniac, and I work as a night guard. Anything after 8pm eastern is okay for me.

Background: «When life gives you lemons. You'll need a shield»

Sweet Lemonade changed her name to Lemon Shield as she earned her cutiemark. Most ponies still call her Lemonade, and she doesn't seem to mind. She's quick to point out that it doesn't match her cutiemark, but nopony seems quite sure about what her cutiemark means outside of the shield imagery that marks her as a stable security pony. Her teachers would say she's an able, eager, and willing student, though not a remarkable or talented one.

If there was ever a story vaguely symbolic of Lemon Shield's time as a security pony; it's the story of when the trashcan on the atrium was on fire. The alarm rang, and as the first mare on the scene she neglected the readily available fire extinguisher and instead pulled out the firehose linked directly to the stable water talisman. The water flowed as smoke filled the atrium, and spilled everywhere. The overmare was furious, the head of security shrugged her shoulders, no lives were lost, and Lemon spent the rest of the week with a mop and a smile on her face, and that smile was still there by the end of her umpteenth mold inspection.

Rumor also has it that she's sent more gear to maintenance than any other security pony, but nobody except the overmare and head of security know the figures. Her awkwardness when it comes to boys has also been an eye roller. «She's quick, headstrong, and completely oblivious,» was passed around the hallways for quite some time until somepony asked her during a game of cards. She said «I just feel there should be a connection right?» And that was the end of it. Nopony wanted to try being mister Right, and instead she's became the safe girl that everypony talks to for advice, but nobody chases after.

According to her psych evalutation she values honesty, but she's yet to answer any questions regarding her Uncle having meetings with what we know as known troublemakers within the stables, and she seems content with downplaying the contents within those meetings (which we know contain an anarchistic bent to them).

Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... d=48290168

Race: Earth Pony
Bio: Prima Donna once prided herself as the "total package." She could sing, dance, act, and look damn fine doing it; until a mishap with some faulty pyrotechnics, which left her with second to third degree burns over roughly sixty-five percent of her body. Thanks to the miracle of modern, magical medicine-- scarring was "minimal." Having permanently lost half of her coat, including her mane and tail, as well as her singing voice; Prima became unhinged, almost malicious, and had a series of episodes in which she terrorized theater performances while wearing a white mask and a black cape. She has since (once it stopped being funny) been ordered to regularly visit the Stable Psychologist.

Prima Donna currently coaches younger performers, designs costumes, and assists with set changes. Her students and coworkers all note that she has grown incredibly patient, collected, and distant. She attributes this to her growing old, and will thwart all attempts to convince her otherwise; she, in fact, refuses to let the accident define her-- or anypony's opinion of her-- to a fault. She can often seem cold or aloof but, if asked, will openly share a tactful dose of truth; and is almost always available to lend an ear. She often jokes that she has had enough therapy to spare, and she sometimes believes this to actually be the case.

Prima is an only child, and her parents are both Unicorn technicians in fields she can't recall-- if she ever bothered to ask in the first place; they don't speak much. She has a younger cousin, named Red Eclair, whom she considers to have a promising acting career ahead himself; though, she refrains from referring to him as the "total package." Prima wears a blonde wig (her mane colour was dark brown, if you care), and rarely smiles because it is a strain on her cheeks. She has an laudable tolerance for pain, is a pacifist, has a fear of Zebras (and, of course, fire), and her favourite play is "Fausticorn."

To all applicants to date:

I've had a chance to look over your character sheets and characters. I will begin interviews today at approximately 1900 CST. Please look for me online in the #FoETavernOOC or #FalloutEquestria chats on IRC. Please note that I will only be interviewing one individual at a time and said interview may take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.

I will be online using either Note-Worthy|GM, Paige-Turner|GM, Velvet_Touch, or Sunfire. Look for those handles.

Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1347763335
Name: Tail Spin
Race: Pegasus
Background: Tail Spin, or Spinner as he's called more often than not works down in the bowels of the Stable, and loves anything that involves getting his hooves dirty. He likes moving around from job to job in the Maintenance wing, having spent time in nearly all of the departments, from the reactor to the PipBuck Repair station. He's a nice stallion who tends to lack a bit in the social department because of all of his time in maintenance. He's very committed to his job and takes great pride in his work. His father was the former Head of Maintenance before he retired, and Tail Spin's goal is to one day become the next Head. As a colt he excelled greatly in school, graduating at the top of his class. He wasn't involved in any sports, preferring to remain in his quarters and tinker with various gadgets and make various small machines. He's easily given away by the fact that his glasses are never clean, and seem to be constantly covered in a thin coating of dust, and look more like shades sometimes.

Hello, again, everypony. Note Worthy here, and I have some news about the game Frontier Days. I have completed the interview process and have come to decisions about who is going to be part of the campaign.

I want to thank everyone that took the time to indicate interest in the game, and applaud you for all of your efforts in offering your characters for my consideration.

Here is the list of the six players that have been accepted into the game.

1) Menti, playing Bright Idea
2) Curious, playing Tesla Coil
3) Adagio, playing Arioso
4) ThePrettiestFilly, playing Black Orchid
5) TicTac, playing Tail Spin
6) Alter, playing "Fluttershy"*

* Tentative approval granted, awaiting RP example which will be conducted on Thursday.

I've slated the game's start date to be March 7th at 1900 CST (or CDT if that happens first). I will be contacting you individually to review over your sheets to make sure they are all correct for the game, as there were some minor issues that were not properly given in the initial application form.

Again, thank you so much to everyone who applied. If you didn't get in, keep on trying! I know it can be frustrating, but with luck, you will hopefully find a game where you can fit in and enjoy the pleasure of RPing with a group of people.
