I'm also an East Coast American, just to let everyone know of my timezone for future usage.
I'm interested in RPGs of both Tabletop and Videogame variety, an MLP fan since... middle of season 2 I believe. I have previous experience in both play-by-post RPGs and Tabletop RPGs (Dark Heresy mostly, with a bit of FoE like once). I'm also planning and intend to write an FoE sidestory using elements and lore from Adder1's The Last Sentinel (upon his acceptance), and have read a small score of the more popular and well-written sidestories (Original, Pink Eyes, etc.). As an author I also believe that there are rarely bad ideas, only bad executions of them, or use of elements that do not fit within the genre of the work.
While this might be an unpopular one; I also Anon (and only Anon) on 4chan's /foe/ threads on occasion, mostly for the discussion and interest in the work of writers and artists there, such is Brisneo, Lucid, Fuzzy, etc. I enjoy the place's more discussion-worthy elements and recommendations for fics and ideas, especially considering quite a few of them have helped out in the development of my work's finer points. I find it's worth weathering the shitstorms or just leaving until things calm down.
As far as non-MLP:FIM-related interests go, I'm a fan of/player of Fallout, Terraria, Dota 2, League of Legends, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Warhammer 40K, and several others. Lore draws me into things such as these and others that I've not listed.
