And I just got back too.
How have things been? I suppose I should check the logs.

Re: FoE PnP Goes Forth (Group 4)
well, you are just in time for another dungeon! we're in front of a closed door leading inside some sort of domed radio station, trying to find a way to free a group of slaves camped outside the place
Re: FoE PnP Goes Forth (Group 4)
Hey everyone, remember me!? I'll be around this Sunday at the usual time, for the first time in forever, if it's okay for Atom to rejoin the group despite being utterly useless now.

Re: FoE PnP Goes Forth (Group 4)
Looking forward to the game Sunday. I will be there. But unfortunately, due to an issue at work, I will be late. I'm hoping only a few minutes late, but it could easily be up to an hour. Please start without me and I will get there as soon as work allows.

Re: FoE PnP Goes Forth (Group 4)
It's great to see all of you again! I'll give a quick recap here so we're all on the same page.
First off everyone is currently level 7 and we're using the Alternate Core rules that Kkat compiled. So perks are now given out 1 per level (Fo3 style) and everyone can now choose up to 2 traits (there's a list of them in the rule doc). So pick your perks and traits, and feel free to alter Special and skills if you want to.
Now for the story side of things:
After giving Gnash a proper send off, our heroes returned to their HQ where they met a ghoul named Short_Fuse, who had been taking a nap despite the fact that ghouls don't need sleep. They also met an ex-enclave pegasus named Price_Signal. In the morning they went into town to talk to Jeeves, the pony who had originally hired them. There they met Milia, a zebra youth who joined them because Jeeves was trying to teach her etiquette (such as how to properly drink tea... and not to give cigarettes to foals.)
They bought extra supplies then went to the Stable-Tec lab in the middle of town. Inside they found robotic versions of Sweetie Belle and Rarity, except that Rarity wasn't working any more. It seemed like Rarity had given her power core to Sweetie Belle, after the foal's had broken. Our heroes recovered a working core and fixed up the two robot sisters. They also found some CMC statuettes they planned to sell Jeeves.
After paying for one of the statuettes, Jeeves invited them to meet his employer so they could negotiate the sale of the other statuettes if they wished. It was a day's walk to Earl Grey's mansion, and they passed through a farmers market being held at the Crossroads where they found a real working bakery and had some cake.
They sold another of the statuettes to Earl Grey (keeping Scootaloo) and heard about a farmer who had recently gone missing. Slavers linked to the deceased Red Eye were suspected, and the group set off to search the farmer's property for any leads. They were joined by a friend of Earl Grey's named Prefect, who was acting as their guide. Prefect is a local pony who was one of the few to venture past the ghoul-filled town and into the rest of Equestria before the sun returned (and calmed down the ghouls). He's doing research for a revised edition of the Wasteland Survival Guide, which means trying to see the marvels of Equestria for less than 30 caps a day.
At the farm they encountered some slavers working for 'Red Beak', a warlord of the infamous Red Eye, who were looting the place for any food left over from their first time through. One of the slavers didn't try to attack them, and was left alive as a result. His name is Short Stuff, and he told the group about the large slaver camp recently set up around a pre-war radio facility at the edge of a cliff. Red Beak apparently wants them to get inside which can't be good.
This facility has been broadcasting a continuous shortwave radio transmission, a weird buzzing noise repeated every few seconds. The group had some ideas about what it might be for, and Milia worried that the signal might be linked to an automated retaliation system, which would launch a counterattack if the station suddenly went silent.
Prefect knew of a back door to the facility, hidden in the cliff wall below and accessed by a narrow coastal path running down the cliff side. This is where we left our heroes, in the short tunnel leading to the door.
This would be a tricky place to reintroduce you all properly soo... you just appear in a puff of logic *poof!*
