Before I lose a chance at a spot, i'd like to place myself in the roster. We've talked about the game in the IRC chat beforehand a few days ago. I'll be placing up my sheet in a bit.

Re: FOE game: Stable of Dogs
Well alright then, look like i will be running with Tankenstein_PHD, Tennisdude, and Schorcht.
just some notes to make:
Double check numbers for you skills and items that up skills.
Make sure to get your background written up Schorcht.
and let me fill you all in more on the stable of yours.
Stable 9 was chosen as one of the stable to have an experiment running in it. The idea seemed sound, perhaps conceived under the influences of a few zebra herbs, but still sound. What i every pony had a companion at birth? a canine at that? Just like Winona to Apple Bloom every pony in stable 9 had a puppy given to them at birth. the dogs had trained, and a little selective breeding, to give them longer life lines as well as to make them better trained for the indoor life style. And afterwards in the stable, they just got a bit smarter, some dogs even able to carry out simple tasks at computers and work benches!
The culture of stable 9: Dogs, everyone has one. Each pony is paired with a puppy at birth, and the two grow together. The entire stable is build around easy access and convenience for ponies and their canine companions. Marriages may be canceled even if the dogs disapprove, and it’s not uncommon for a pony to have his dog as his “best pony”. It’s safe to say that every pony in this stable is a “dog person”.
So yes, you all get your own dog meats, let me know what names you give your dogs and a little description of what your life long canine companion is like!
looking to start the first session on the 9th at 4pm PST if that is good for everyone, and going till 9pm, or even later depending on my work scheduled, and players willingness to stay up all night with me, graveyard shifts woo!

Re: FOE game: Stable of Dogs
Yay! I'm in! 4pm PST should work for me.
So, after some consideration I think Gentle Breeze's canine companion shall be a Doberman Pinscher named Gustav (the pony doing the naming had a thing for griffin names). Gustav is usually calm and reserved, and sometimes it's hard to tell who's supposed to be the more responsible one when Breeze gets wound up. Yes, it is sometimes difficult to keep track of one's pony, but Gustav does his best...
Oh, and should we also perhaps post something detailing basic things the other characters can be assumed to know about our own? After all, Stables are small enough I think it could be assumed that our characters have all at least heard of each others and said "hi" a few times in the halls. It'd be a little silly to have them all be total strangers like most RPG groups start out as.

Don't worry, you are all familiar with each other, this mission your on is not exactly spur of the moment, you all know each other's names, and a little about each other. I have seen too many campaigns boil down into inter party arguments about not trusting each other to let you all be total strangers :B.

Okay, that works. Also, I've entered some background info and a description on my character sheet for Gentle Breeze.

Oh boy, we start at 4 on the dot. Gunna have to rush 'er home after work
Lux's background has been updated, hopefully it works out. If not let me know. It's on her character sheet
Violet is Lux's canine companion; a Border Collie. She is mainly white but has light golden patches on her as well.
Violet is not really a reserved dog. She barks a lot, but from past experience it was to warn Lux of potential danger; bullies. Contrary to the common saying, Violet's bark is only tad bit worse than her bite as some have learned first hoof. So needless to say Violet is very protective. She usually helps Lux carry around what she needs and also fetches things such as tools so that Lux can focus on the task at hand and not waste time.

Re: FOE game: Stable of Dogs
Glad to be in . Now just need to think on my own little dogmeat...
I think I'll go with an Australian Shepard named Half Note. Half Note is a smart, if someone neurotic dog. She is very barky and protective of Cider, treating her as a "herd" of one. As a result, Half Note dislikes crowds, and hates when people get close to Cider. However, despite Half Note's overprotectiveness and tendency to bark at things that might not actually be there, Cider loves her dearly.
Half Note has also started to help to Cider in her scientific pursuits, and Cider is in the process of training her to be more adept with computers and magical energy weapons.
And that should round it out for my own little pet. Hope it is sufficient (Also, I can change the name if that would be best. I wasn't sure if we should use pony nomenclature or not :p)
Edit: Also, what medium is this going to take place in? Like Roll 20, Team Speak, ect.
