[Closed] Offering services as GM on an organisational level

Post by f1r3w4rr10r » Mon Jun 29, 2015 9:40 am

Hi there,

the group I was in just recently died. This happened to me a few times and I kinda feel the group that ran the longest was the one I GMed myself.

Now to the matter at hand: I am offering my services as a GM on an organisational level. That means I will do about 80% of the GM work, just no storytelling, because I suck at that.
What I offer:
- organizing the game times of the group
- managing contact details and (if wanted) reminders for the players
- combat management
- creating enemies
- loot management
- using roll20 (I have a subscription, so we would be able to use some more advanced features)
- designing and drawing maps
- drawing tokens and character icons
- looking for fitting music for separate locations

Restrictions and what I want from a group:
- interest to actually play the game
- trying to get along with the other players (I will try to dissolve any disputes fairly and quickly)
- being able to play at a time that doesn't require me to stay up all night (optional, but I'd really love it if possible. Have a look at my location to see my time zone or have a look below for when I am usually available.)
- telling me beforehand if you can't make a date
- I would prefer Mad Modd's Fallout Equestria ruleset, but I am open for other rulesets

And last but not least, I'd like to play a character myself, if the group and the storyteller trust me with that. I understand that this can look a bit weird and might increase the risk of meta-gaming, so I am kindly asking you to just consider it. If not I can still just play some NPCs.

Time zone conversion of the times for when I am available:
Monday - Thursday:

I replied to the PM before looking at this, so just ignore the bit about times.

This is still very much up to date! I am still looking for players that would fit my time schedule, preferably on week days. I also have a roll20 subscription again.

I'm currently already running a couple campaigns, so i definitely can't solo gm another one. However i'd be willing to try and co-gm a game (though i think it might be wise to wait until say...a week after fallout 4's release to have anything beside from pre-planning. I fully intend to disappear off the face of the earth for a few days when that's out.

I'm also fairly technically adept in roll-20-fu and google sheets and storytelling is pretty much my passion in life. I have a few nice tilesets for map making as well.

I'm primarily looking to fill a friday timeslot, my best friends have a real life game night every friday, and are too far away for me to join, so making some new friends at that time could be great. I've got a few concepts for story we could work on, though i do play a little fast and loose with canon at times.
I'm awful at voices, i' only gm'd one and a half games and could improve in pretty much every field, but i love this sytem. I haven't run with mad-mods ruleset but i'd absolutely be willing to try it.
I'm pretty much exclusively here to try and contribute content or technical support for the PnPrpg. Message me if there's anything you need which you think i can provide.

Well I wanted to do most of the stuff apart from storytelling. If a second GM could take over some other things as well, that would be fine too. We would just have to see to find a good time, judging by your time zone.
