Well given the latest few chapters it seems more obvious that the Dealer is not someone who we thought. What exactly do you think he is? Living? Machine? Goldblood or someone else?

For right now, I'm betting that it's Mr. Horse.

That's been my guess lately too.

Newest chapter mentioned somepony who worked directly under Goldenblood and who believed he could stop the war.
I need to reread the story from the beginning because I'm having trouble keeping facts straight in my head, but I'm sure that knocks Horse out of the running. At least for now and until new info is put forth.

That was probably not the truth; I think we can assume that whatever Jetstream was told was at best a lie to get whatever the device was to Roam. If we trust that what Blackjack saw was real.

I think it's safe to say that anything Blackjack experienced in Happyhorn is up in the air as far as however real it was. Like you have said here, if there was any truth to it at all, then whatever Jetstream was actually told was a ploy to gain her cooperation.

Personally... I'm leaning towards Mr. Horse now myself after this last chapter with the Dealer mentioning that he worked for Goldenblood. Pretty much confirms its not Goldie himself at least.

Well the computer used Blackjacks knowledge and it's own to form the simulation so why can't some o the information it gave have been true?

Well, we know for a fact that . The first is one of the facts of FO: E, it's one of the first things you see. And for the second, the message in Gorgon's hut in the stadium, as far as I'm aware confirms who he was (Unless I've missed something radically obvious or remembered something incorrectly, in which case correct me).

It's not that the information in the Happyhorn computer is false, since, after all we see that the simulation is populated by ponies that Blackjack knows, fitted into pre-war role in the asylum. That much we can trust. Everything else gets a 'Suspicious' sticker. It's kindof a rule with dream sequences: don't necessarily dismiss everything you see, but don't believe everything as well. The little aside with Jetstream might be true(at least parts of it), but we have no guarantees until we receive confirmation outside of 43.
