Is that mentioned in chapter 17? If not, then that's some serious spoilers, assuming the information (if not neccesarely Puppys actions) presented there are to be considered canon.

That was fun, though somewhat different to all that has gone before. I was surprised to find spanky mare was such a non-combatant.
The last scene reminded me of an old Magnum PI episode where they (no pilot) have managed to land a plane under instruction from the tower. The guys at the tower are then too busy celebrating to listen to the people on the plane - who were asking how to stop it.
So here we have a group of ponies that are too busy trying to TELL their views that the whole clueless lot of them fail to listen to the one thing that matters - Puppy herself, and her downward slide into "Oh dear!" territory.

And Yay, I left a comment. I hate it when I get no comments. It's finally got through my thick skull that the other writers here probably feel the same way!

Well then, that was depressing.
I have a vague urge to punch your face for actually making Rainy Days dead-dead (as opposed to the preferable ghoul-dead), but I guess I can't have the happy endings all the time.
But even then, fuck you for making Puppy so sad.
