Fallout New Vegas Lets Play Number 2!

Okay, I liked my last Lets Play a lot, it was fun and really allowed me to get in character! So, time for round two! I already have a character ready to go. So without further ado, let me introduce to you all the star of the show!

Also if anyone can come up with a cool name for him please do tell!

Do you remember what PipBoy-substitute mod you were using on the last thread? It looked far easier to use than the standard PipBoy UI...

Two fixes, that made atleast Fallout 3 a lost more stable for me:
-lock the application to 2 threads maximum
-disable all DirectSound 3D emulation
->The last one was actually a really hard one to find and real pita. It kept crashing FO3 with sound loops and even bluescreened my PC a few times. You might want to try this on New Vegas as well.

And for the PipBoy UI, it's called PipBoy Readius.

It was one of the mods I was using. It was causing the crashing. I've reinstalled the basic mods I want and will be lowering the resolution on my game for better screenshots.

Fallout Lets Play Number 2 attempt two!

So, I woke up in a bed, strange man sitting next to me. Turns out I been asleep for a couple of days, and that I had a rather nasty scar. The memories of what happened were rather jumbled, but I knew enough that if I ever see that man again he is dead.

The Doc helped me up, made sure I could stand, walk, do all the basic stuff. Then gave me a Pip Boy, some clothing and told me to go see Sunny Smiles in the Saloon for some shootin practise and stuff.

So down I went, to the Saloon, entered and got growled at by Sunny's mutt. Sunny was decent enough, took me out back and gave me a rifle, got me to shoot some bottles. It was good to be shooting again, made me feel comfortable. After shooting a few, she offered me a job, and needing the caps I accepted.

So off we went to the well, cleared it out, saved a persons life, got paid and Sunny told me to head back to the Saloon and say hi to Trudy. Before that, I skinned the Geckos, got the meat, went back to the General Store, sold the hides and bought me some new clothing. Then back into the Saloon.

Trudy was argueing with some guy, I didn't pay attention. Instead I went up to her and asked bout the guy who shot me, turns out he was headed to Vegas. That makes my life easy, just gotta get there, then find someone that could help find him, maybe the Khan people?



Who cares, he's gonna die!

As I traveled by, this person asked for my help. I was in a hurry, but he offered me 50 Caps to rescue his Girl from some Geckos up on the ridge.






No girl, but I did find a 10mm Pistol. Good find.




Yeah, he tricked me, but I sorted him. So no harm, no foul.



What the hell? Why's that robot here?”



Um, some one please explain? I don't get it.





NCR, Primm, and it's under criminal control? I mean, I got nothing against NCR grunts, but their leaders can go rot in hell for all I care. Why the fuck are they not helping these people?

Was dark, found some dead bodies, picked up everything I could carry, then went inside.

Yeah, it hurts. Wish I was better at this first aid marlarky. God damn it hurts!



But all in all, it's been a good haul so far.



Back tracked and found this, went forward and saw Ghouls. Laid some mines and ran!




Yeah, hurt bad, limping, arms are stuffed, headache of the gods.



Losing consiousness, blood loss, not good!
