The Daily Unlife:

Pre-war cities:
  • none (so far)
Post-war settlements:
  • Hayden (originally "The Hay Den". No relation to The Den though; Hayden is a pretty decent place)
Stables:
  • Stable 69. The real Stable 69, not Project Horizon's repainted Stable 89 :)

hi hi

I know my side story isn't released yet, and thus it probably won't make a difference to anyone else, but I did come up with a couple of locations. I figured I should post them anyway in the spirit of thoroughness, just in case someone goes looking for ideas.

Marchador: A town that is heard over the radio to have been destroyed by raiders shortly prior to the start of the story. It is/was a small settlement built near the ruins of a small pre-war town by the same name. Named after the ambling gait of the Mangalarga Marchador breed.

Whitetail Highlands: a semi-mountainous region on the far side of the Whitetail Wood, a portion of which was not poisoned along with the forest due to being uphill and upwind.

My fic has effectively been placed on hold until I feel more confident in my writing skills. Also, seems like my 42 gotten taken some where else so I'm just going to strike my 42 from the record.

Don't know how to delete the message so i just replaced it with this.
All the locations i wrote down have been changed/ replaced with other ones

but the main pre-war cities i plan on using
Cape Maneveral - home of ESEP (Equestrian Space Exploration Programme - like NASA at cape caneveral in real life)
Calvary - based on Calgary in canada - frozen city encased in ice
Brookwing bay - a beach of somesort along the east coast of equestria.
West Maresta - wanted to use westmanester or westministallion, but they sounded too strange + west maresta rhymes.
Haycrest heights - abandoned residential area - blocks of flats and hotels built up, lots of explosions and falling buildings guaranteed.

I also plan on having my main character briefly visit some of the same areas Littlepip visted eg. Manehatten, Fillydelphia, Canterlot and the Everfree forest, but staying away from anything related to project horizons that could create angry readers - except for 1 or 2 references to pre war cities and such
The equestrian wasteland is total freedom, but with that freedom there's a burden you must carry for the rest of your life. You have to be strong, face your fears and fight for your freedom, because if you don't, the wasteland will tear you apart.
One way or another.
