What sexual orientation?

There are surprisingly many straight characters here actually. I always operate by the assumption that everyone is bi untill otherwise noted, and observations often support that. It seems that either we lack quite a few notable characters, or there actually is more straight characters than gay.

Then again, this is only for main characters; I'm pretty sure "Does your story include a gay/bi character? Yes/no" would result in far more "yes" than "no".

Also, if anyone wondered; while Gears (my own character) is straight, I have no yet actually mentioned that in the story. So, at some point, I will have some dude hit on him for comedic relief, and to satisfy the "bi untill otherwise noted" criteria in my head xD

I think my main 'Charisma' may actually fit into the 'change over time' since some of the charecters she will come into contact with will under strange circumstances 'not' have a 'defined' sex but will probably shift from straight to bi, i probably won't go into any paradigm shifts, romantic drama, or of the preference sort but more out of 'her' curiosity? I'm not exactly sure but from how everything has been laid out in my mind and the situations that she will face will probably change and open her views to uh, different perspectives?
I just don't have a straight answer, may end up bi but will change over time.

Well, I haven't finnish my stories, but I think it's ain't gonna hurt if I well will say about my characters.

Most of my characters are straight, exept somethin':

Honeycrisps is actually straight, but his mate Minty says he's gay because he's "not manly enough" and loves to write stories and poems about lesbians.
There could be two lesbian mares in a second chapter but I'm not sure if I'll handle writin' about high feelings (or how you call it). Maybe I'll have to move chapter.
My ponysona, who also one of the EFP rangers, were pansexual when he was 15, and turned straight back again when he became 19. Sex, drugs and rock'n'roll, that's how. Though, he sucks with mare now.

By the way, what happens when raider becomes gay? He becomes gayder.

Star is definitely a self-admitted fillyfooler. That's sort of what happens when you come from a race of completely female beings (alicorns). Despite the fact that they eventually end up being able to procreate at some point, at the point in time that Star is living in, that hasn't happened yet. So fillyfooler all the way for her.

Violet is also one as well, since they're technically "together"

Steeljack... hmm.. haven't decided yet, but I'll probably say he's straight.

Frost = heterosexual.

Rig = bisexual (What is it about Stable ponies and Stable door swinging? ;p ).

Azrael = asexual (Powerful telepathy apparently kills the sex drive).

The character of the story I'm currently writing, and still hammering out details like a name I like for him to have, is straight.
Oddly enough I already have a love interest for him. A female unicorn named Patch Up.
Still working on other characters.

Ember is bi and in general just doesn't care about gender.

Charon is straight.

Alpha is... I'm not entirely sure. Though regardless of orientation, she just isn't really interesting in a relationship.
