Some fonts I've used that might be of use.

This is the best Fallout font I've found, matches perfectly.

A really nice Friendship is Magic font. The latest version now includes lowercase characters (I should redo my buttons on the site)

This all sounds really great, do you know about the current PDFs that are being formatted?

I'm not involved in that, I disagree with some of the formatting choices they made and am choosing not to argue :) But, they are coming along very nicely and I will be using them myself with a few tweaks. Volume 1 is basically done, I think there are a couple more pieces of artwork still needed. Volume 2 looks to be nearly done as well.

Which formatting do you disagree with? Just curious.

The whole "who's paying, who's lying" business has me rather miffed.

Well, starting chapters on the inner page for one, it's not how a book is supposed to be formatted. A chapter is not supposed to start on an even page number, although I'm aware it is done in many books, it is never considered proper. The page numbering is starting on the title page for some weird reason. Also, there is no TOC, I will add one to my printing. I want to add a glossary to the end for terms the reader might not understand.

The overall vibe in the group really bothers me. It's just not "fun" or even happy, a couple members are doing everything they can to micro-manage things and it's all rather depressing.

But, they are putting together the best resources for the pages themselves, and the layouts are looking beautiful, so I will be using those, just with my edits.

Of late it has the feel of a scam, a way to twist people into creating all the artwork. Some people, as you say, are now trying to micro-manage that artwork, like telling me to remove LP's cutie marks! At the moment, I can see myself ending up with just PDFs and no printed copy, which is annoying because it was the lure of the printed copy that led me to spend all of those hours in the first place.

I'm just going to print my own copy, I never trusted that 100 free copies thing, was too good to be true.

I'll try to put up tutorials as I progreses for anyone who wants to print it out themselves.

BTW, don't remove the cutiemarks, that makes no sense.

I agree on the too good to be true bit actually. I did make comments to the effect in the thread at one point and was largely ignored.

As for Littlepip's cutie marks, they are staying exactly where they are! I am done. No more images for that project, no more changes for that project.
