Cutie Mark Crusaders: All players characters play blank-flank foals, special talents to be determined as the trait says with a crit success.

Okay I love that idea, the All Blankflank game. Also, I wouldn't mind if somepony made Seaponies a playable race in an oceanic setting.

Variant ideas for the crusader campaign idea:
My Little Angels: Our little foals try to save the wasteland
My Little Hellspawn: Our little foals are evil little hellspawn that want nothing more than to terrorize the wasteland.

Re: Campaign Base Ideas (Feel Free to Post your Own)
So I was looking at the updates page for Mad Modd's excellent Equipment list and noticed that back in December he added something I have wanted to see for a long time, mods for armor! Excited I went to check it out and wouldn't you know it one of the listed mods gave me a great idea for a game.
Game Idea: They Neigh-Team
Set up: Players start the game off at higher level, more caps, and free Flak armor with the "Specialized Gear" Mod (Gives one non-combat skill a +5)
Summary: The players are all members of a crack team of Mercenaries... or at least that is what they bill themselves as to potential employers. This rag-tag team of organized adventures travel the wasteland selling there services to the highest bidder. The idea here is they have matching armor that is customized for each players roll in the group, sort of a Reilly's rangers deal.
If you have a problem
If no one ells can help
And if you can find them
Maybe you can hire... The Neigh-Team!

This is an idea that I've had kicking around for a while: Taint Hunters
Now the NCR has a decent hold on the larger, and more pleasant, parts of post-apocalyptic civilisation, it's time to expand. But the soldiers are needed to police the Republic's borders, and the civilian body would never want to set hoof outside of their new comfy home, so who will be sent out into the unknown? The masses of criminals of course. They are given a choice, serve out their sentences in prison, or at gunpoint if so be it, or give something back to the society they took from by exploring the wastes.
Set up: PCs start at a higher level and get to choose one piece of clothing as equipment. All other equipment will be randomly rolled for them. They also have to roll to find out what their crime and sentence is. In addition, all PCs have a bomb collar on them at all times, just in case they try anything funny with their new found freedom, which their handler holds the detonators to. Enemies will be tougher and more hazards will be encountered than normal, as well as whatever else the GM wants to throw at them.

I personally think that's a great idea. Though would they have to roll to see what their crime is? Couldn't they be allowed to make their own crime?KendallKun wrote:This is an idea that I've had kicking around for a while: Taint Hunters

All these are great ideas! I'd love to see a game use one or some of these!
Variant on the All Ghoul Game
Glow Bright like a Star: All Glowing One Game, all of you are glowing one ghouls, finding each other in some fashion or another, you seek to either get rid of your positively bright body or to make it even brighter. Glowing ones will not gain rads from each other, and since they all are glowing, a House rule might need to be set where they degrade much faster than other ghouls, and have to make a check at CHA/2 days with 0 rads rather than just CHA.

The crime would determine the sentence, and how severe. The worse the crime, the more missions/areas they'd have to explore. By rolling to see your crime, the characters have a greater motivation to get through as many as needed as quickly as possible.Otaku1995exe wrote:

But they can't choose exactly "what" crime they did is what I'm asking. To me it just limits being able to create a character's backstory if you can't even choose which crime would suit his or her personality. But again, that's just me.KendallKun wrote:The crime would determine the sentence, and how severe. The worse the crime, the more missions/areas they'd have to explore. Hello!
I'd think these would make some great games.
Ironclad's Past:
You are part of a Mid-Western Steel Ranger Bunker. Your Elder has tasked you, and a squad of other Paladin's and Rangers to search out pieces of a world long lost. The road ahead is yours to take, but where exactly are you to go? Survival, lore, and mystery alike may take you from the ruins of Cloudsdale, all the way to the ever once ever growing REPCOLT* research labs, and perhaps a MoS, or MoA bunker in between. Just exactly what was the old world hiding? What treasures will you claim for the glory of the Rangers?
Of Caps and Gold:
Anything can be achieved with enough caps they say. Wars turned, towns and cities founded, ponies killed and secrets uncovered. Who knows, sometimes even the greatest of ponies have to micro-manage at times, leading you to some of the greatest of adventures of them all. But all can be done from the safety of your office. Everypony has to start somewhere unfortunately, and more likely than not, you only have a handful of employee's and partners, fighting other businesses that sometimes have had a head start. Sell, kill, buy and trade. But what exactly are you to sell? That is yours to choose, and yours to make. Do you have what it takes to amass that mountain of caps or will you crash and burn like so many others?
*REPCOLT is just my headcanon for REPCONN but is still a space engineering company.
Regardless, I hope you all have a great day guys!
Oh! And!

Oh my gawd! Oh my gawd! Oh! My! Gawd! Why have I fallen madly in love with this one? It's great!icekatze wrote: A Weary Soul:
You've heard of the statuettes before. You've seen Velvet Remedy carrying them around New Canterlot on business, and you wouldn't have thought anything of it until the day some thief tried stealing her saddlebag, but only succeeded in scattering the contents across the floor. When you and a few others scrambled to help pick them up, you felt an unusual sensation for a brief moment, but you didn't think much of it. That night, the dreams started. You've tried to ignore them, but they won't stop. You can't explain why, but you know that there is somepony trapped out there, existing in agony, and the only way to ease her suffering is to destroy the statuettes. Something also tells you that their owners won't part with them easily.
