Yep, time for another group to form. This one will use the standard rule set plus some of the revision documents that are floating around.

The only problem I can see with this group is time scheduling, due to the fact I have a job and two other games that I play in during the weekend. Also the fact that I live in New Zealand and thus operate on GMT +13 for the majority of the year, and GMT +12 for the rest.

The spreadsheet here shows what times I'm available for play.

Also, this is the first real game I'll ever have GMed, so if I make mistakes please forgive me!

So, base rules are here.

Character Sheet is here.

I'll use the rules from this doc here simply due to the fact that that's what I use in Group 3.

Background:
Spoiler: show
Welcome to Manephis, former city of Equestria. Built on the banks of the New Horn River, Manephis before the war was a thriving centre of trade, the place where things were sent to before being sent to other places, during the war Manephis only grew in size and importance.

The city was hit by a single high detonation Mega Spell that smothered the area in lethal Radiation. Nearly three quarters of the population where turned into ghouls over night as a result. In other places taint in transit was spilt into water ways or wells, dispersed through the air or just forgotten in the madness directly after the war.

Before the war the city was chosen by the eccentric brother of Mr Horse and co founder of Robronco Mr Hoof. Hoof and Horse had a disagreement in their younger years which led to Hoof leaving his brother and founding Hoof Industries in the Manephis region. The initial venture didn’t go so well, he had the finance but no actual brand that locals cared about. For a few years the corporation struggled to find traction before a merger with equally distressed Horn Ltd. The resulting partnership created the Horn&Hoof Inc, of H&H for short.

H&H built their own lower quality Stable in order to preserve the company should megaspells be deployed. Unfortunately for the H&H directors they all died before even reaching the Stable, and with them the H&H died. The Stable however endured, even as Radiation flooded some section and systems designed to keep the occupants alive failed they endured. Sixty Three years after the war’s end they emerged into the blasted remains of Equestria and founded Stable City, the most powerful force in the region.

On the banks of the New Horn River there is a medium sized settlement known as Hoof Rot located in the badly named Rotten Bottom Marsh. It is a thriving albeit horrid place. Slavery is legal in the southern quarter and most drugs can be found here. The northern quarter is the major trade hub where most salvage teams trade with passing boats on their way to Tenpony or Friendship city.

In the Rotten Bottom Marsh live a tribe of displaced Zebra’s that escaped from a prewar internment facility. They are a timid lot who stay out of sight whenever possible. They are known to be off limits to Slaver’s due to the treacherous terrain and vicious traps they use to defend themselves. Every now and again a band or individual of the tribe will leave on a quest dictated by an elder.

Other places of interest include Fort Withers to the north occupied by Paladin Finder and his chapter of the Steel Rangers. His mission is unknown to outsiders but his patrols have been seen mostly pushing into the Manephis Ruins.

Also in the area is Fort Pinion built by Talon Company. The Griffon mercs are willing to take most jobs in the region and have steadily increased their presence of the last year.

I'd love to join, but I'm having trouble figuring out that spreadsheet in relation to me (UTC -4, until Fall). The only day I reliably have free is Tuesday (although I tend to stay up into the wee hours of the morning Wednesday regardless). I don't work Sunday evenings (store closes at 18:00) and Friday evenings, but Sunday I usually have to spend editing my podcast, and every other Friday I've got my Exalted game.

I included GMT-UST on Tuesday, both of them a practically interchangeable.

Unfortunately for you, playing at those time puts you from 1 am onwards, so unless you are capable of staying up till like 7 am your time I don't think this group is easy for you to join. Sorry.

If I don't make sense, sorry, writing this at a bad time for me.

I'm interested, but Sunday is the only day I really have free. Looking at your chart, I'm usually free most of Sunday, after around 1 or 2 PM EST time. I may be either late to, or miss some sessions entirely though, depending on what happens.

Can you link all the things you plan on using?

Well, from what I can figure out I could play Wednesday orThursday at practically anytime, and Sunday evenings/nights my time (EST)

Pretty much exactly what GreenBank said goes for me. So I'd like to join in as well if at all possible.

So then, a Sunday night game sounds doable. I'm going to edit the first post now with everything I plan on using.

I'd love to join but I'd need a more exact time to know if I'll be able to actually join in.
Fri-Sun works well for me but I have work on Mondays so I would not be able to play it it causes me to stay up too late/early on Sun. I'm gonna be 14-13 hours behind your time.

How early are you willing to get up? Cause right now I have a good five hour block that would just require you sacrifice sleeping in on your Sunday morning. Assuming others want in then yes, I'm all for starting the group ASAP.

Thank you for showing interest!
