Need help with Chinese.

Post by Konstantin_Kholchev » Mon Mar 25, 2013 3:37 pm

Yes it is. My English could be bad but I don't know Chinese at all. So, please, correct me if you can.
First, I need to translate names of some martial art techniques. I tried using dictionary, but I'm not sure about words order, grammatics or how even write properly. So, I'll place English names and rough translations along with brief descriptions.

Divine Zebra Hoof - Shensheng Bānma Ti. Basic technique, which allows to control target's qi - from healing to killing.
Silent Zebra Hoof - Chenmo Bānma Ti. Allows to move without making noise.
Zebra Assassin Hoof - Banma Cike Ti. Allows to defeat target instatly, without sound.
Zebra Murderer Hoof - Banma Xuongshou Ti. More simple style - although still deadly technique - but doesn't allows silence.
Hundred Strike-down Hooves - Bai Dadao Ti. Allows to make very quick punches with extremely high DPS.
Cross Cut Hooves - Shizijia Qie Ti. Series of punches in the body, that breaks opponents spine, ribs and shoulders.
Deafening Slap - Hōngmíng Shēng Erguāng. - A slap in the ear, that deafens opponent temporary. Or, sometimes, permanently - by blowing middle and inner ears from inside.
Steel Piercing Strike - Gangtie Ci Da. The same as the "Piercing Strike" perk but allows to ignore 20 DT points instead of 15.
Face Breaking Knee - Lian Nongduan Xigai. Speaks for itself.
Send-back Fingers - Tuihuan Shouzhi. Developed by jackals from Manechuria, allows anyone to send throwing objects and arrows back by using fingers.

Expecting any help.

Here I go. Only listing the ones which I am correcting.

Silent Zebra Hoof - Chenmo Bānma Ti. (Chenmo in Chinese means to keep quiet or keep silence, which doesn't work so well here)
Anjin Bānma Ti

Zebra Murderer Hoof - Banma Xuongshou Ti. (Xoungshou could mean murderer/criminal/attacker/assiliant)
Bānma Mou Sha Ti (Mou Sha means murder, but it is a better translation than Xuongshou)

Hundred Strike-down Hooves - Bai Dadao Ti. (While Bai literally means hundred, it doesn't stand on its own, and is usually paired with a number)
Yibai Dadao Ti (Yi refers to one, so it means one hundred here)

Cross Cut Hooves - Shizijia Qie Ti.
Jiaocha Qie Ti

Deafening Slap - Hōngmíng Shēng Erguāng.
Hōngmíng Ba Zhang

Face Breaking Knee - Lian Nongduan Xigai. (Although the literal translation here is indeed face breaking knee, in a Chinese context it isn't appropriate, and Xigai here refers to the body part knee, rather than the technique of kneeing)
Duan Lian Xigai Ti

That's about it. Good luck!
