Due to a bizarre confluence of unavoidable cosmic coincidences, next week's game session (March 29th) will be something of a side quest. This will most likely involve some kind of an adventure within a dream/memory and will not directly influence things in the immediate future (although you may pick up chekhov's gun along the way.) However, since it will likely be a little bit of a different format than our usual sessions, if you want to take the week off, I wont feel bad either.

As always, I will try to answer questions and help fill in bits and pieces of the rules that aren't quite polished yet. Let me know if you have any concerns.

Again, I apologize about the strangeness of our last session. Hopefully I will be able to avoid needing to have a side quest like that again, but if I can't avoid it, I will try to make sure things run a bit more smoothly. This upcoming week though (April 5th) we will be back to our regularly scheduled program. With any luck, we'll be back where we left off and it will run without a hitch.

Speaking of unavoidable circumstances, I have just moments ago firmed up my plans for this summer a bit more. You may recall hearing me say that my brother is getting married this summer, and because of this, there will be two weeks that I will not be able to host a game.

Friday, April 19th I will be out of town to help with planning and preparations. And although the event itself is on a Saturday, I will most likely be unavailable on Friday, July 19th as well. (I'll know more about that second date as time goes by, and I'll be sure to remind people when that date gets closer.)

As I am sure most of you are aware, I have thrown a somewhat daunting challenge at your hooves in the last session. There is a time limit involved, and the longer you wait, the worse things may end up when you arrive at your destination.

However, I don't want you to think that you must drop everything that you are doing and run off instantly. That is certainly an option, but if there are things you want to take care of in Stable 9 before you do, it would probably be helpful to take care of them quickly.

To facilitate that, if anyone has something that they want to do before leaving "town," I encourage you to let me know ahead of time so that I can prepare and perhaps take care of some of the mundane bookkeeping before the next game begins. (This is entirely up to you though.)
