Slowtrot is just another normal earth pony living in wartime Equestria, working jobs, hoping not to get drafted, and getting a nice cold beer at the end of the day. He may not be the brightest pony, or the swiftest, or even that good with words, but he has his health, some luck, and his heart in the right place, not that wartime Equestria cares. So when he finds himself not in his Applewood apartment, but inside the Stable-Tec R&D Stable, feeling out of place is an understatement, and the least of his worry's.
