Growing up in the Grand Pegasus Enclave, my life was pretty good. I had a loving family, a few close friends, and the potential for a great career in R&D. But then my brother's gone, my life's a wreck, and all it takes is a few bad decisions for me to end up lost in the Equestrian Wasteland, with a small filly to protect and a brand I'm not worthy of burned onto my flank forever. Now all I've got is the near-impossible job of crossing the Divide in an ill thought out attempt to reach the Crystal Empire, and an unknown weapon at my side that the Enclave themselves declared useless. Great. NOTE: I'm going to be including locations and characters from the show created after Fo:E was, slightly adjusted to fit the universe. Also, this is going to tie-in pretty heavily with Fo:E: Outlaw for the first few chapters (including a couple of dialogue lines written by Tofu, and the airbase layout, and some cameos), but not the extent that you have to have read it to understand this.
