It has been 50 years since the Stable Dweller overthrew Red Eye and brought the collapse of the Grand Pegasus Enclave. Equestria knows nothing of taint or radiation, the sins of our forefathers a distant memory. The one thing that has not changed, however, is war. The wasteland still exists, albeit a fraction of what it once was. Death, violence, and war are still abound. These are the reasons mercenaries exist. Ponies like Iron Fury of the Equestrian Gendarmes. Prancinnati, an independent city-state, knew nothing of the destruction around it, history leaving it behind in near-mythical status. Even as the nation of Equestria died around it, the city stood over the landscape unscathed. Now with the fear of dying with failure out in the wasteland, Iron Fury and his band of unusual mercenaries are forced to travel to the ancient city in an effort to survive. Finding Prancinnati as a shining beacon of hope for the wasteland, the mercenary captain finds himself standing up for the commoners in more ways than one. Will these hardened warriors bring salvation to the wasteland, or will they be relegated to the pages of history as one of the many failures of pony kind?
