Dusty felt the cool, damp breeze on his face as the screams of the dying city echoed in his thoughts. Utter silence now confronted him as he stood there with eyes tightly shut. He trembled, picturing his Princess's dying face as she teleported him alone to safety beyond the crumbling shield. He slowly opened one eye, immediately blinking in the glare of the bright sunlight. All around him he could see the ruined remains of the once glorious city. A few cobbled streets ran out into empty space, the rest of the fabulous place thousands of feet below, smashed at the bottom of the mountain. He was completely alone in the remains of Canterlot. Or so he thought... Dusty Rigs was once a simple Canterlot Guard. However, he gave up that life to join the newly formed Equestrian Army. There, he faced suffering at the hands of the enemy, and fought in one of the most brutal fights of the war. He also became a hero, and served his country and everyone he loved, only for it all to be taken from him in a flash of pink death. Now, 210 years in the future, he finds himself the product of a spell gone horribly wrong. Will he be able to survive in this new world. Will he be able to survive in the Equestrian Wasteland? Only time will tell.
