This story takes place after chapter 7 of [url=http://www.fimfiction.net/story/64297/fallout-equestria-wild-wasteland]Fallout Equestria: Wild Wasteland[/url], but there is no need to read the original. During a particularly cold night, the Checkmate Company settles down in a cave for the night. Most of the group is fine with the arrangement, but Knight just can't get to sleep: she's just too freaking cold! Now she must embark on a grand adventure (that is, a few dozen steps further into the cave) if she wishes to survive the night. (I may come back and turn this into a compilation of mini-stories later, but for now, it's all by itself).
