The stable is a closed circle under the stern hoof of its draconian Overmare, slowly cooking away at a sociological experiment two hundred years in the making. But the circle is broken by the arrival of a stranger and an artifact that forces its Overmare into the shifting tides of the Wasteland. She'll have to make choices. She'll have to hurt people.
