It's always fascinated me that people assume I had a choice. That I picked this path for myself and have been gleefully walking down it ever since. I don't know whether I'm walking it gleefully, but I definitely didn't choose it. There wasn't some signpost showing all the different options and encouraging me to take my time as I decided the direction of my life. I was born and there were two possibilities: Live the life given to me or die. Do I regret it? My choices were mostly superficial. Regretting it would be regretting my whole life. So, to tell the truth, I don't know. Sure there were things I've done that I know are bad, but that's just the way life in this hellhole is. Most people will do what they have to when pressured. Others do whatever they want if they think they'll get away with it. The rest will do whatever comes to mind and not give a damn about the consequences. There's a name for the third group. It is a name that I've worn since the day I was born and will keep till the day I die. Probably.
