At some point, you just stop being surprised by all the horrible things that happen out in the Wasteland. You get to a point where you just kind of...accept it as part of the everyday life, heck you might even try to rationalize it. But that doesn't change the fact that the Wasteland is just a really messed up place; the Stables are just as messed up if not more so... Orchid, or as she's better know as the unicorn mercenary [u]Tri-Gun Orchid[/u], and her companion Sirius take shelter in a cave to avoid their pursuers. Rather than go out into the raging blizzard (or risk another firefight), they reluctantly elected to venture deeper into the cave in order to see where it went. What they found, was a numberless Stable... With the audio diaries from Orchid's PipBuck, one could just...barely piece together what went down during and before Orchid and Sirius made their appearance.
