In the final days of the war, before the megaspells hit Canterlot, there was a team attempting to stop the launch of said spells. Their valiant efforts were wasted. The megaspells were destined to hit their intended targets. Nothing was stopping them. As their act of redemption, the squad forces the leader into a stasis chamber to protect him before the world became the wasteland it was. The squad leader, Westwood, fell to sleep while his friends and his home were quenched in emerald balefire. Over a century has passed and the chamber was found by an enclave search party searching for an ancient signal found in previously zebra claimed lands.
