A decade after the day of "Sunshine and Rainbows" San Palomino is the worst piece of dirt in Equestria to some, and the last bastion of freedom to others; either way, it is the last battlefield. The Gardens of Equestria have had unforeseen consequences (oh, no!), but it is not the New Canterlot Republic that must shoulder the burden. Enemies and allies alike, lie fractured on the verge of a new war with an old (and quite "original") enemy. With seemingly no rhyme or reason, excluding musical numbers (Yeah, I recycled this joke. What have YOU done for the comedic environment!?), the balance of power has been tipped; and those with the most to gain, are those with little to lose. Two Ponies, “Road-Given” by their respective tribes, share little more than a starry roof; and a distinct view of the storm to come.
