FOE game: Stable of Dogs
Well know everyone im looking to start up a game of my own. im looking for 2-3 players for a campaign i will be running.
The Intro:
The ponies of Stable 9 have hit a sudden food crisis. The water talisman is failing, and the stable orchard has been badly damaged by an outbreak of rad roaches. As such the stable was forced to open several decades before planned. With the stable door opened, and security building a checkpoint outside several groups of ponies are sent out to find new supplies of food! You are in one such group! Sent off to investigate the lights of what looks like a town in the distance you set out to find the supplies needed to keep everypony you have ever known alive! What adventures a wait? What friends are there to make!? And what enemies are there to conquer? After all, rumor says the mysteries stable 51 lies in the region and more then a few stable hunters have come looking for the old world technology that lies within the stable that the combined Ministries took over from stable tech. But as anyone from stable 9 knows you can judge a pony by how he treats his dog. And that war never changes.
Player start as such:
Level 1
150 caps to “spend” [any not spent is wasted]
One trait is used for Stable Dweller
Players may pick any one [1] Teir 1 weapon of their choice
Armor is limited to stable jump suits and cloaks.
No food items to be purchased at start, but water may be purchased, and counts as clean [but with a bit of an off taste]
Players must be an Earth pony, Pegasus, Unicorn OR Zebra.
Players will also start with a bonus trait for free, Dog! giving each player their own life long canine companion. The dogs will be build as yellow threat monsters by me, they will level at the same time as their pony owners, and they will take perks and spend skills in what they think of as the best way to help their masters.
I am Looking for players with an interest in exploring the wasteland, delving deep into ruins of the old world, meeting interesting ponies [and probably shooting a few] let me know, send me a note, grab me on the IRC, or shoot me an E-mail at askdanceexplosion@gmail.com .
Let me know what you character's concept, and goals as a character, as well as the goals of you as a player for the character.

Well this is certainly intriguing, but before anything else I'd like to know one thing: what will the meeting time be? If it's something I can work with (evenings or even late nights any night besides Thurs., possibly Saturdays) I can come up with a character.

While intriguing, knowing what day and time you'd be shooting for would be, like Tankenstein said, helpful.
That said, it might be a good idea to jot down what resources you're using. You're using one of the tiered lists, obviously, but which one? Which perk revisions? What "extra" rules are you using? That kind of thing.
I'll keep an eye on this in the meantime, though, as a group with less then 4 player characters might be really fun.

I do things, sometimes. Maybe...

Re: FOE game: Stable of Dogs
Well now I'm thoroughly interested. I'm EST, so PST would be would be several hours earlier (3, I think?). I can manage one weeknight other than Thurs. regularly from around 7pm to midnight my time. That'd be (I think) 4pm to 9pm your time. If you really want to do Wed. or Thurs. 7pm will be about 10pm my time, and I'm willing to stay up to about 2 or 3 am (4 or 5 hour session). Essentially I'm open for pretty much any weeknight time you're willing to run.
May I go ahead and start working on a character when I get a chance?

I must say I also have interest in this! By the by, do you have any preference on what character sheet we use? There are a lot of variations out and about, and I understand that some GMs prefer uniformity.
Edit: Also, is the Tier 1 weapon factored into our starting cap limit?

Re: FOE game: Stable of Dogs
try this sheet, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... XVEE#gid=0
and the weapon is free, thus you can pick any T1 weapon, firearm, melee, etc and then spend the 150 caps, on ammo, medical supplies, change of cloths, and a few other items. It is pretty much not possible to start with any armor other then a cloak but fear not, that has been taken into account on my end.
