We're being attacked again. This one is more than the rest. I have to defend this safehouse for as long as I can. I need to protect my student.

Day two still isn't shaping up to look to much better after last nights less than restfully sleep on the floor here at Casa de Rosebee. Dpnt get me wrong, better than being on the streets with all this going on and CERTAINLY better than getting stuck at Glowrod but still not quite the same as home is it? Pop is certain to be worried half to death by now, but hes a made of tougher stuff than even your standard Earth pony so Im not to worried about him staying safe.

Need to clear my head, thought I would have to settle for some basic exercise out back in the yard but while I was doing my Stretches Ms. Backlash (who has been super coll to have around during all this, wish I had learned more about survivalist now that I look back on it) gave me the best idea! After I write this im going to hop the fence and go for a proper run, so far these things look to be mostly dumb and slow. No way they can keep up with me!

Obviously Im not going to tell them before I do it so they dont try and stop me but as I hoof it out Ill call out so they dont worry, maybe I can even lure some of these sick... things (not sure I want to even call them ponies) so the others can gather supplies.

- Update: Ok, maybe not the best idea ever, also HOLY CROW there are allot of these things now. Think i can hear moaning so my breather is over, HAVE TO RUN!!!

Thank Luna. With a li'l help from my buddy Punch, we gotta lotta stuff now - books, food, a bit-a medicine, the works! Didn' even hafta fight for it.

Hopefully that crazy buck'll come back okay. Those things don't seem to be too fast, but ya never know...

Now, if only I can get everypony to hush up a li'l when we move. Ain't no way we can last forever with all these weird things pawin' at the walls.

Well... this has been exciting. Swift came back all safe and sound, fortunately. He even brought this new griffon with him. She seems... like a decent pony. Er, griffon, I guess. Although Miss Star seemed to be a bit gruff with her at first.

And that attack earlier was terrifying. I'm glad nopony got hurt... although Rosebee seems to be a bit shaken. Who isn't though? ... I'm sure this'll all get better soon. I hope.
