A strange note or package awaits you, it is remarkably clean, as though the paper that makes up the envelope or packing paper was just made, inside there is a letter or holo-tape and a small crystal shard, as you pick up the shard it slides into your hoof, no pain is felt, but it's startling none the less, and then you turn your attention to the tape or letter, reading or listening to it as appropriate

The writing is stylized, almost looking hoof written, or, if you got a tape, the voice is a silky feminine voice, holding back tears but speaking with remarkable strength and then....then everything goes dark......

Okay, so, I'm not exactly a super experienced GM so bear with me in this some. We will be using a number of house rules and such. It is a survival heavy game, with (hopefully) players trying to establish a new settlement at some point. Character creation for this will be a GROUP thing, which I'll get to in a moment.

Medians used: roll20 and Skype for OOC chatter/side chatting (I would like logs so IC posts will be posted on roll20)

Now then, Char creation rules: Standard from now on (Level 1, any race in the core doc following tweaks I've provided, 300 starting caps, as a heads up, you will be in an arctic climate to start)

These rules are now done, the original cast has been determined as such different standard char creation rules will be used from this point on
-The reason that Char creation is going to be a group exercise is because *drum roll* there will only be one character allowed of a given race, and all of you must select one of the elements of harmony as your 'virtue' for plot reasons *cheers* Yes yes, I know, this is odd, but, it will make sense later in character, which will be reveled in the first session!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, adult things can/may happen in this game, it is a serious game (so no rediculous silly please, some is fine, but if all you want to do is play a walking joke, look elsewhere plox)

G-Man, skype chatting is going to be used for OOC talking/communicating and to help things like skill checks and combat flow more easily.

Hmm, I had interest, but I hate having to use voice chat for OOC. That, and I see no reason why we couldn't use Skype for IC. I do it for my game, all I do is just create two different chat groups with one labeled IC and the other OOC. But, that's your choice. Regardless I hope you have a great game.

The reason for not using voice for IC is for logging, and the reason for voice to use for OOC is it speeds up things like combat significantly
