PnP Everywhere ahead FOE

Hello, first let me introduce myself. A short time ago i had decided to take on the mantle of GMing and learn the ropes using the Fallout equestria system. since i was new, i only took a few players to start and had a really good experience learning the ropes and sharing time with them. a while ago i lost players due to time constraints (and computer stolen bad luck). So i decided to open up the slots for new players to come in.

there are currently 3 of 6 spots open.

Players:
  • Melee Combat Oriented Unicorn.
  • Jack of all trades MEW earth pony
  • Alicorn Undefined yet.
  • Open
  • Open
  • Open
Gaming time: saturdays 5pm UTC-4 wich is around(9pm UTC 0) i would still prefer people from the american continent since we would be closer in time to each other. but any person can be accepted if it suits your time schedule.

Setting:
the timeline is right after the enclave Destruction but before the elements have been found.

The equestrian Wasteland is being Bombarded by a sudden influx of pegasi immigrants, wanted or unwanted, the pegasi come, bringing trouble with them. The party right now its located around the appleloosa area in a town called Buckle town, a young town formed around an abandoned military base. the plains surrounding its area and its fortified construction makes it a pretty good safe zone against the dangers of the wasteland. Mainly against the raider group roaming the area known as the Rainbows, lately the group had met them twice and their incursions are starting to come closer and closer to buckle town.

PnP Rules:
Fallout Equestrian Standard rules.
Mad_Modd's Tiered Equipment list.
Most Races are Available if you consult before.

Characters are Lvl 3 and we will be using this sheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... ring#gid=2

things to be Aware of:
  • since i am new to GMing and i am looking for a particular feel, or harshness and survival. there is going to be rules modification happening as the game progresses as i tune it down to get the feel that i want. You are encouraged to comment on the modifications and even suggest on your own. if a certain modification affects your character i will try to compensate for it as we reach an agreement.
  • role-playing will be mainly by Text on the roll20 chat i am not very good with English as it is my second language, so please be patient with me.
  • Challenges will be presented as situations, is up to you to choose the route to take it, if you made a bad choice it will be met with consequences.
if you are interested please send me a private message and if you have questions feel free to post them here.

You know, since you're going to use Mad Modd's Tiered Equipment List, then why not use his rule set and character sheet template to go with it? It's listed in his GMing aids right here -> http://forum.fallout-equestria.com/view ... f=24&t=606. Also, do you have other means of contact? Maybe Skype or even the onsite chatroom?

because i read it and i did not liked it. while it have some good rules, i dont get the same "feeling" than the standard document. also i think that the standard rules has a broader pool of players.

you can send me private messages and i will reply to them as soon as i can. i will also try to connect on the IRC but i work away from computers. so i cant guarantee to reply unless its private messages.

Okay then, so then what sheets did you want us to use for our characters? There are different templates and i'm not sure which one you wanted to use for the group. Also, what races are strictly out of bounds for this game?

there is basically no restriction as to races or characters but they all need my approval. if you want i can send you my Skype trough private message.

a strange race character with a good story is likely to be approved since they are special and their unusual back stories have to be more crafted. while normal races are easier on the back story.

Hi just wanted to ask, if you got a list of players somewhere. Cause I don't really see how many slots are open at the moment.

Also: Since you are already using the template Aqu, EDtiGron and I made, why not just link to the original?

i have a list of players. but i guess is not visible under the wall of text. i will try to give it some format.

as for the sheet i was looking for the original but i could not find it. i thought it would not matter since the content is the same and im not taking credit for it. but if you want it i will change it.

It's not so much as taking credit for it. It's just still being updated every now and then with some new features and the like.
Have a link: http://forum.fallout-equestria.com/view ... f=24&t=650

I'd also be interested in joining. I would have to leave another group for it, but I was thinking about that for a while already.

Hey there wastelanders! I've done as the topic owner has asked and wish that both participants take this topic to their private message box, talking about it in this topic is now grounds for a full on ban.

Thanks for the understanding! Happy trails my friends.

sorry i didn't get to reply to you, when i checked the page a bunch of times yet somehow i missed it. i saw the latest version of the sheet. but i think its a bit overloaded with information, and i find it a bit "intimidating??" too much information sometimes is not good. and i think this previous version of the sheet is simpler.

i will give a deeper look at the newer version though. and show it to players to see what they think. meanwhile ill use the older version.

you are always free to jump in even if is just to take a look. and then make a choice if you wish. just let me know throug pm and ill send you the roll20 link.
