Over the two years I think I've vaguely gotten better at running a game... but I certainly couldn't ask for a nicer group of players!

***Group 4 Session 76***

Shock.

That's the only word for it.

The missile struck in the middle of the group, picking up Berry, Whisper, and Prism and throwing them a short distance as they tried to dive for safety. Watch Tower was barely able to hit the deck before the explosion washed over him, scorching his coat and driving debris into his flesh.

All four ponies lie prone. Stunned by the sudden savage attack. Their ears ring and their bodies ache with dull pain. They haven't had time to hurt properly yet. But despite their condition they are all very much alive. In fact, their lack of movement may be working to their advantage. Their attackers aren't expecting much of a fight after a hit like that...

Four griffins and a pegasus descend from the layer of thick, angry clouds that cover the sky. The fliers stop about a hundred feet above the group and two of the griffins, armed with rifles, start to laugh. “You fuckin' nailed them!”

The pegasus with twin hunting rifles in his battle saddle seems less amused. “You hit that kid as well. We could have just picked them off from the clouds.”

Missile griffin, a female, ignores his concerns. “Can it, scrub. You're not paid to talk. Now get down there and strip their weapons. Gut the survivors /after/ we ask them some questions.”

But Jasmine Mistplume is still somewhere in the sky, and over the road in the next field, Artifica and Milia remain unnoticed.

I'm actually going to be cooking for my family tomorrow, which would mean a much later start to the game. Since that's super bad for Kkat and Warp wont be here, I've decided to call off the game tomorrow (the 6th).

No game on Sunday the 6th of July.
