[Forum Game] [Mafia] Stable Conundrum

SourCherry woke up before the others, deciding that instead of just sitting at one place and getting bored at waiting others to wake up, she would go and scout the Stable. So far, no signs of life... and further exploration to the atrium shoved the same - no one to be seen.

She wasn't alone, though. SourCherry noticed this as her side began to hurt, the pain knocking her on her side. The brief red flash - and the non-stopping burning sensation - were the tell-tale marks of a MEW shot. Her assailant disappeared to the shadows, the job done. SourCherry fainted at the massive amount of pain the magic had done to her... she'd surely die here without assistance...

...except a third figure was watching. As the attacker slipped away, this third fellow at the scene rushed to SourCherry, jabbed a Med-X to her foreleg and compels the injured pony to chug down a health potion. Before SourCherry can regain her consciousness, her saviour has left, the earth pony being the last one to stand at the scene of the attempted murder.

"Hmmn...HMMMN! I'm not sure how to react." sophos sat meditatively, his master logic skills were obviously in full use. "Okay it's definately bad news that somepony, or person, wants to shoot SourCherry of all Ponies. It's great news that they failed, but SourCherry still had to go through getting shot; which is, of course, bad. Hmmn...this is kinda, maybe very, bad; I think. SourCherry, who did ya piss off? Did you get a look at them?"

[SourCherry]

Frowns and shakes her head: "Didn't see a thing. The Stable's got more shadows and useful corners than I thought. Don't know who helped me either." looks around the group, trying so hard to remember who it was that attacked them "Probably some Steel Ranger infiltrator, judging from the laser weapon wound..."

[sophos]

"Steel Rangers!?" He rubbed his chin. "Lazer weapon is one," He looked to the Stable. "...Stable is two. That's a M.O. and a motive. I think that's a safe assumption, but I don't ever assume. You know what it would make out of us, and have little interest in that; as nice of one as you would be." *wink* "We need more evidence!" He stamped ephatically.

[Someonewithapen]

Someone scratches his chin. "Well. It looks like you've got some kind of guardian angel. They'll think twice before trying that sort of thing again." He glances off to the side. "At least, I hope that's the case."

[sophos]

"If it helps them to stay anonymous I say we respect their wishes."

[Someonewithapen]

"I mean these 'Steel Rangers'" He says, making quotes in the air, "Maybe with this kind of bad luck, they'll cut their losses and clear out."

[SourCherry]

looks at Someone with a slightly amused smile: "Don't know about a guardian angel, but I'm thankful that someone else was awake last night, besides me. But one thing we can be sure of... It's one of us. Or more. A lazer pistol isn't too hard to hide, mind you." SourCherry tries her side, it's manageable.

"Well try not to go anywhere alone, especially at night. Just ask and I'll keep ya company. The problem is, if it is Steel Rangers, who could it be? I've never even seen one outside of their armour, and it was one of the red-trimmed ones; they're different right?"

looks around at the others. "Well. It's easy to say that all of us are going to deny any involvement in your murder, especially since it.. Well, failed, to be blunt."
