Fallout Equestria: Steel of the North (FULL!)

Scenario: You are a member of the Steel Rangers, an elite militiant group composed of Earth Ponies and Unicorns tasked with procuring Pre-War tech and keeping it out of the hooves and/or claws of any that would abuse them. You have been called by your Elder for a special assignment, you have been assigned to scout the icy nothern borders of equestria to establish territory as well as uncover any leads for Pre-War Tech as a new Charter of the Rangers. A simple assignment if it wasn't for the fact that there were Yetis, Windigos, and Savages trying to constantly kill you. This ought to be fun.

Steel Rangers Info
The Steel Rangers are composed of Unicorns and Earth Ponies, either race can be part of the Command, Military, or Civilian branch of the faction. The Civilians are made up of two parts, Scribes and Initiates.

Scribe
Scribes are members of the Steel Rangers' civilian workforce. They are typically responsible for research, maintenance, and other non-combat activities, and share the same rank as a Knight. Only one rank of Scribe is known, though it is possible that there are several leadership ranks that coincide with the seniority of Paladins and Senior Paladins.

Initiate
Initiates are newly-inducted members of the Steel Rangers, either from a birth within the Steel Rangers' ranks or through external recruitment. Holding the lowest rank, Initiates are in training to ascend to either a civilian or military role within the Steel Rangers.

Then there's the military ranks which are comprised of Knights, Crusaders, Paladins and Senior Paladins.

Senior Paladin
Senior Paladins are officers who preside over a large contingent of Steel Rangers.

Paladin
Paladins are officers who lead a Steel Ranger platoon of 24. They report directly to Senior Paladins.

Crusader
Crusaders are sergeants who lead a Steel Ranger squad of 8. They report directly to Paladins.

Knight
Knights are rank-and-file soldiers in the Steel Rangers. They operate in squads lead by Crusaders.

Then last are the Commanding ranks comprised of Star Paladins and Elders.

Elder
An Elder is the highest ranking officer of a Steel Ranger regional chapter. The Elder typically commands the rest of the local chapter, and coordinates with Elders from other chapters regarding faction-wide policies and initiatives.

Star Paladin
A Star Paladin is a high-ranking Steel Ranger operative who has the freedom to pursue and organize their own operations outside of the rank and file army. They typically do so alone, working as agents, though they appear to have seniority over members of both the Military and Civilian branches.

Mandatory Rules

1. Players can not play races besides Earth Ponies or Unicorns!

2. Players are not allowed to be Star Paladins or Elders, military players will start with the rank of Knight and will be moved up in rank as the game progresses, Scribes on the other hand don't have to worry about ranks as they're still part of the Civilian branch but don't expect any Power Armor Training anytime soon.

3. Players will start at Lv.5, and the Steel Ranger trait for free.
Steel Ranger Trait: (Knight) +5 Battle Saddle, Start with Power Armor Training (Basic), -5 Sneak, -5 Firearms (Scribe) +5 Hacking & Matrix Tech, +5 Repair & Mechanics, -5 Firearms and -5 Survivalism & Traps.

4. Knights begin with T-63 Power Armor, and Scribes begin with the Winterized Ranger Scribe Robes and Recon Armor. All players can have up to 2,000 caps worth of equipment, but try to be realistic about it.

5. Backstory, while not mandatory, is highly recommended for gameplay purposes.

I could be down for some Steel Ranger fun, so long as the time and date are in order

Hmm, Time is debatable but my best days are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Tuesdays as well as Thursdays are possible as well but the time will have to be specified.

I'm be interested, though I've only ever used the Kkat ruleset, how hard will it be for me to adapt to the MadModd one?

Also, will you be incorporating anything from Thanqol's Northern Empire setting?

That's what really got me interested in the north.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention, this looks similar to what i'm planning to do. This'll be an even bigger help to me for the game. Also, Mad Modd's rules aren't as complicated as others say it is, I much prefer Mad Modd over the standard Kkat's rules (Please don't tell Kkat I said that, and if you're seeing this, forgive me!) If anything you can pm me any questions or try and catch me in the IRC.

Alright, well then I'll probably make a character (and hope this goes better then the other games I've done).

Is there a time range in which the game is planned to be played or will that be arranged after all the players are assembled?

Either way, I'm throwing my hat in.

If you need another player, I'm in and would love to see how it feels to play the Steel Rangers. Count me in, if you'll have me, of course.

Wow, we have 4 players already and it hasn't even been a day yet. 2 more and we can discuss the days of games.

Quick question, what's the timeframe this is taking place in?

And by that I mean, along the FoE timeline, aprx. when is this taking place?
