Deadlands: Tartarus on Equestria
Its been over a thousand years since the birth of Nightmare Moon, But this timeline is not our own.
The Elements of Harmony failed to seal away the nightmare and from the shadows Equestria was lead down a path to civil war. Long fought the eventual conclusion saw the second failure of the Elements as both the royal sisters disappeared in a catastrophic disaster. The two nations they left behind fought to a stalemate before falling into an unending cold war. A form of peace lasted for a time till those shadowy puppeteers efforts paid off as the world plunged into war on a scale never dreamed of before. Battles raged as nations chose sides, all struggling for the last of the remaining ghost rock deposits. The spark truly hit the flame 18 years ago as the first of the Ghost Rock Bombs flew across the sky, over the following week the world was ablaze as city after city fell to the terrible weapons. Storms of souls consumed the land as Equestria was twisted it into a nightmarish landscape.
Here in this new Equestria the dead walk, monsters stalk the night, and Ponies live in constant fear. This is a world in need of Heroes, ones who can push back the darkness and show the shadows what ponies and other like minded species can do. Welcome to Deadlands: Tartarus on Equestria, Its going to be a HELL of a ride!
This is a non-FOE Game game that will be taking place every other week, It is in an alternating schedule on Saturdays with LuckyLeaf's G0 Game. We will be Using the Savage Worlds rules applied to a heavily altered Deadlands: Hell on Earth setting. Lists of Rules, Gear, and Character Creation can be found on this groups reference wiki (Work in progress). All Players from LuckyLeaf's game are automatically invited, further seats may be open but again this is an alternating game so we will only be playing once every other week. The GM (myself) is located at -5 GMT and will expect players around 6-7pm each session (that is at -5GMT). First session/character finalization will be on Saturday February 28th.
The wiki is constantly evolving and still needs a lot of work but by the second session it should be in ship shape!

Deadlands: Tartarus on Equestria - Character Sheet
Now we have a Character Sheet template for those want to join.
Also a WIP reference wiki for the game, rules and setting details. I'll be updating it over the week as the GM decides what rules we are going to be using. But it will be using the Savage Worlds Deluxe ruleset, based on the Hell on Earth Reloaded module along with the Hell on Earth Reloaded Companion, as well as a few elements from The Savage World of My Little Pony 4th edition.
So far I think we will have Viewing Glass, Ignis, FreakSheet, Observer and me, Lucky Leaf, as players. I don't know how many slots will be available yet, but the GM will be posting it soon.
edit: I realized I need to fix a couple things on the sheet. The final version will be ready until saturday.

Logs
Session #001
Nice session. It's going to be a fun game
I just realized I made a mistake on the formula for Base Toughness, cell I14. It should be:
=2+Floor((VigorDie)/2)+C15

Re: Deadlands: Tartarus on Equestria
Hey guys, just wanted to touch base with you all and give the posse an update.
Rules have received a big update on the wiki thanks to the efforts of LuckyLeaf. Between now and game time on Saturday you can expect full updates for the arcane backgrounds, including history and special edges/powers, and location info for The Great Basin. The Great Basin is nearly complete and I have only to start copy pasting it over, If I can finish another region before next game Ill make sure and put that up as well. Right now this is the order I expect to add the regions: Great Basin, Great Northwest, High Plains, East Coast/Delta, and Lastly the Buffalo Lands.
At this moment the Buffalo Lands are not even mentioned on our map but they will be located between the Badlands and the East Coast, they will extend down into that large canyon area you can see. They will be added when I fully update the map, along with many other changes small and large.
While starting to work on regions before the game started I needed something to help me visualize what I was doing, as it turns out converting a US map to somehow match up with one of Equestria is not an easy task. The map we currently have up was what I made to help myself plan and think, and for that it worked just fine, however as I started to write up information for each region I started to find a even deeper understanding of where everything should be. As it stands now the Map is becoming more and more out of date as I finish putting the pieces of the puzzle together, right now im keeping a running list of updates needed for it, once I finish with the Regional info on the wiki I will rework the map to better match our setting.
In other news things advance for Saturdays game as I work on some Roll20 maps for us to play with! Included in this I will have not only maps for the various locations you may visit, such as this Biodome place you are flying off to, Shitakee Flats where you started, and other hidden locations, but also a much larger map for traveling. Most of these you will not see till Saturday but there is one Lucky helped work on which you can all take a peek at, you can find it below.
Here she is folks, the Shy Dandilion! Captain Nutmeg Oils pride and joy, the very ship that you will be setting off in at the start of next game. Enjoy the comfy plush benches, the incredible view, and of course you will feel well protected with the addition of the swivel mounted turret. Truly she is the height of comfortable travel in the Deadlands setting.
Alright well this post is getting long so Im going to wrap this up with some questions for you the players.
First of all I am asking for brief descriptions of your characters so I can draw some appropriate Tokens for us to use in Roll 20. Im not sure if they will be done in time for Saturday or not but I am planning on making a full set for the characters, busts most likely. If they are not done by next game they will certainly be ready by the one following.
Lastly I wanted to ask your opinion on something. I was thinking about posting a brief description of the job you will be performing here in the forums before the game to help us save some time for Saturday. This way we would have the basic info written out and the players could go ahead and think of questions they would ask ahead of time, all this could be done in play but again I was just thinking of it as a time saver. What are your opinions?

Re: Deadlands: Tartarus on Equestria
I'll send my description when I get a chance tomorrow, and I'm fine with having the quest description in the forum. We only do this one every two weeks, so saving some time is always a plus.
Re: Deadlands: Tartarus on Equestria
Nutmeg Oil is a stoic-looking yellow pegasus buck in his mid-30's. his mane is silver colored, short and windswept, unkempt and spiked backwards. He has freckles and myrtle green eyes. He wears an old plaid shirt with greasy sleeves and a pair of goggles.
It would be nice to have some debriefing. My questions are all as to what Nutmeg's job is involved.
What way and how far are these two places? Are they close together? Which is the nearest? Any dangers along the way (like guns that can shoot us up here)? What kind of weapons does the gang we are looking into have?
Also, did the gang have vehicles? It's no big loss if they are gone, but we can scavenge some decent parts, that's a bonus.
I might like to rush and claim dibs to any remains of that gang if it's truly gone, but unless the gang place is closer and the same direction than the settlement we are scouting, we better go to the settlement first. They could need help.
